Well it's not technically the 14th, but I got drunk and went and saw Friday the 13th in a sold out theater. It sucked, but it was the most fun I've had at a movie ever.

Ah. Sorry, Latin fail. Or the "peasant" was acting outrageously and was taken into custody before his behavior could escalate further. Ya know into like a felony or something.
-
Who met John with a beer? Oh man that dude has crap luck.
-
I never do this, but dang...bump.
-
Must be cleared or they picked him up. He's not in the warrants database.
-
Thanks Poak! My buddy picked it up for me on Beale Street lol Geez dude. Rough mornin. Hope the little one gets to feeling better. So you're tryin to tell us you moved furniture or something today?
-
I thought of one the other day Who's Harry Crumb with John Candy. It is horrible, but I love it. Also, Dead Bang with Don Johnson. That movie is great!
-
Huh. Now see I learned something today. I had no idea Martin Riggs was teaching tactical classes anymore.

I took the bike to the dealer today to get a recall piece fixed, got Vday present for the wife, and got my hair did. I also helped a guy who's truck caught fire. Me and a ,kid you not, bounty hunter blocked off traffic and convinced dude to get the F back before it went up. It cut loose pretty good right before MFD showed up. I hated all we could do was pretty much watch, but the guy was elderly and I think he was happy to kinda have the support. Everyone else just watched of course. I also did all this wearing my new favorite shirt! Pictures attached.

Hey boys and girls, as some of you know I'm a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and my West TN ride captain sent this out to us. I thought I would pass it along.

No actually I believe you, but I had already pulled the truffle shuffle card last joke session, so I had to dig for the bedsheet one lol
-
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ROFLMAO. The ole' truffle shuffle card comes into play once again!
-
You still got those flowered bed sheets?
-
Well I'm not letting you, Mike, and Mason have all the fun. Sign me up the A-team music was the deal sealer on my end. I get to be Murdock!
-
Pshhh. Shows how much you know. Paladins can't wear HCP badge body armor. Paladins can only wear Extreme Shock ammo body armor or lower.
-
I see your point, but just because someone is not physically able to do something does NOT mean they need a badge to carry a gun. You got your permit, you EARNED that. To me all a HCP badge is is a feel good ego booster. Maybe I'm narrow minded, but I just hate them and I hate the rhetoric behind them. As far as the NYPD shirt, that is a support shirt. That is 100% completely different.
-
All is forgotten just because you are the only other guy besides my battle buddy that has ever said "butthurt" to me. LOL
-
Firstly you're welcome. Secondly, it is not a personal vendetta really. It's just that I think it's ridiculous to try to pass yourself off as something you are not. Nobody has ever been able to give me a reason for the badge other than "I want people to think it's ok that I have a gun." It IS OK you have a gun if you aren't a criminal! As far as the guard comment that is ridiculous. A guard earns their badge, some more than others obviously but, they do what is required of them to earn the right to wear a badge and call themselves by their title. You get a carry permit for completing a class and paying some fees. That is all the state says you need to carry your gun. So why wear a badge? Because you want people to believe you are something you are not. To me at the root of it, that is impersonating an officer. Maybe not going around saying you are the police, but I'd say 99.9% of people that wear those want to be mistaken for cops so they can OC and feel good about it. As far as your other post about "roughing someone up on a man with a gun call" it sounds to me like you either need more experience dealing with those types of situations or you are just hot headed. I understand the fear and uncertainty of responding to an armed individual, but the average permit holder is probably going to do EXACTLY what you tell them to do without you having to put your 5.11 boots on their neck or popping them with the X26. That's my lengthy response. I'll add in closing this, disagreements are a big part of this forum. We are free to agree, disagree, and even flat out argue, but the majority always maintain a degree of civility. I hope that most of what you read here doesn't frighten you, because it really shouldn't. I also hope you stay safe every time you clip on that badge and gun.
-
Well you're ok then. I got the wallet, but skimped on the badge myself.
-
Good God man....:D
-
Really? Cause I'd lock them up for impersonating an officer and let the court figure it out, but that's because I despise wannabes and people that don't have the conviction to just f'ing OC! You wanna walk around with a gun on your hip? THEN DO IT NANCY! Leave the badges pinned on people who earned them. That's my rather direct feelings about one of the stupidest things ever invented to make a quick buck.

Will you defend the 2nd when the time comes?

Lot of truth in that and while they may be fewer now, I believe there are still some people that principles and values matter more to than a job. -
If I don't know you and you aren't wearing an identifier as an LEO or the place I'm at Security, you are getting two to the chest. I can't see how brandishing a weapon at someone couldn't be construed as a reasonable fear. I'm not gonna go "Hey Pat, that dude's got a gun pointed at my face. I wonder what his intentions are?" LOL
