  1. I read this back in oh...JUNE. Look I know the sky is falling and all, but for God's sake there is a search button on this forum and until the apocalypse there is gonna be. I know Tungsten and others have probably been thinking it, but I'll say it...server space or whatever holds all this stuff ain't friggin free anymore. I'm not saying don't watch the bills and stuff, but we all know the Dems will eventually try something. We are all aware Emperor Palpatine has been elected to office.
  2. I know. I posted it, laughed, then was like "Hey wait a minute...that's not funny anymore because it's true"
  3. I agree with that mostly, but I don't see a problem with a permit. I just see a problem with how it is regulated. It's kind of a necessary evil in our times. Nobody here wants gun in the hands of criminals or criminals carrying them, but we don't want to give up our liberties either. It's kind of a give and take I guess. I see both sides of it because I see people every day that do really need the proper instruction and training that the TN class offers and sometimes more, but at the same time we should just be able to carry without a permit. I guess it just makes traffic stops longer if a gun is found and they would have to run your history to make sure you weren't a criminal.
  4. I'm thinking it means they won't even honor it.
  5. "What are you gonna do with the hammer Clark?" "I'm gonna put the coat over it, and whack it with the hammer!"
  6. Yea it's a Candian thing eh?
  7. OOOOOOOO He said it! Family Guy FTW
  8. I also live in an apartment. Top floor, great for the zombies, not so great for real life. I figure if it's a short term thing like a major storm we are more then fine and settled in nicely. If it's a major thing we'll just take what we can load into the Dodge and head for the hills. I have several friends that live on ALOT of land so I am easily able to vacate a metro area. I have probably a couple months worth of rationed food in the home by the time you figure in what you could keep in a cooler for a couple days and then canned goods, MREs, etc Good store of water and after something I just read I'll be keeping the bathtubs extra extra clean and running faucets at full tilt if something BAD ever happens. I figure if it's even a long term live off the land kinda situation I can adapt to that from growing up a country kid anyway, if it's a earth is mostly destroyed kinda situation you're just gonna do what you can anyway. Can't be prepared for everything. That's why people that can adapt easily are usually the best survivors.
  9. HEY! Isn't that our deficit?!
  10. Michigan honors us too Creeks old buddy.
  11. Good deal. What a dumbass neighbor.
  12. There was alot of special effects stuff and I think in certain parts they had to remove trees to make the landscape look burned out and barren. I finished it last night and the ending wasn't what I had hoped, but it was what I expected. I guess that's life lol
  13. Those aren't nails! They're LIES!
  14. Are Joe's fists really that big in person? Joe reminds me of a clean shaven Wolverine for some reason.
  15. Wow. Epic fail on her part lol
  16. I bought 2 American cars in the last couple years. 1 of which was in August. Dodge even. Huh? Wonder what this at my feet, don't belong to me.
  17. I know you're in Knoxville, but maybe we should get a TGO group and go to a matinee one Sunday or something in our locals?
  18. Don't know John, but I had a 20 minute long conversation with Mas and Walt Rauch when they were there a few months back. Like I said it's a friendly disagreement, because honestly this is how I look at it, If Tom and his staff are the kinda trainers someone is looking for then that's great because they are keeping them active in the sport and providing the service the customer is buying. I just think his staff, more so than him, are just a bit to brash at times and run the more skiddish beginner customers off. Anybody in the gun business needs to be furthering training and responsible gun ownership to every age, race, and sex. It's the only way to keep the 2nd alive and well. It's all about what you want and are looking for really.
  19. Hey. Can I have some cheese to go with my wine? You're excused, because you do have really great nails and that takes alot of work to get them to look that feminine. :P
  20. LOL I know what you mean. I have had to look up a word or 17 reading just this book. I never knew, and wish I still didn't, what a catamite was.
  21. That is true and a good possibility. Yes they are dangit! Make them play nice! I should bring you to the next one in full battle rattle. You can explain the finer arts of the "stealth kill" to them lol Gutter, I do not need ideas nor encouragement to act on them lol
