My friend and I nailed a raccoon at around 55mph one night. I remember seeing it, hearing this devastating crunch and we just were like Oh dear God that thing was huge. Fast forward about 5 minutes, pulling up to my house where my girlfriend is waiting on us. I pulled up, my headlights washed over her and she just starts screaming. We get out and look at my car. Stuck halfway into the shattered remains of my front bumper/grill is a good size chuck of raccoon. If it had been scripted it couldn't have been any better.

I agree. Let them post up if they want, but I bet alot of the chain restaurants don't bother. With the economy tanking and people losing their jobs left and right do you want to be the chain manager who decides to post his restaurant and inadvertently pisses off a fairly large group of people? Either way I don't think we'll see a big rash of it. I guarantee if you went and asked most restaurant managers about the legislation they wouldn't know what the heck you were talking about.

Don't know about JM, but I had a few friends doing time by 16, a couple more that had serious drug problems, and one of my best friends was drinking as much as he could get his hands on whenever he could. Age is just a number, but mindset and determination to fly straight or burn down the road to Hell as fast as you can don't care what your birth date is.

Sorry but that is BS. You can quote policy, but I deal with this every day as well and you are not gonna sit here and try to say that is how it goes down everytime are you? There are always extenuating circumstances. I have never been to a code that went exactly the same and there are always employees who will leak info to the family. I'm not saying all the info BKelm got was correct, but I think you'd have been better served to either offer condolences only or just not comment. You were either looking for an argument by trying to be inflammatory or you have more stake in the issue than you are letting on. Hospitals screw up and kill people every damn day and you know it. Either way someone lost their life.

I leave the drawer open for her. Sometimes I lay my hand by the grip so she doesn't get cold. She was mad at me this morning because I didn't take her with me. I normally conceal everywhere, but I've run into gas stations and such leaving work and not bothered to cover. One lady just stared at it so I smiled and said "It's ok, she doesn't bite." Trigger reset was something I learned a few years ago and am still amazed it's not more commonly taught in beginner courses. Once I got used to the reset on my Kimber my accuracy improved and I got faster at follow-up shots. Trigger reset on a finely tuned 1911 is a sexual experience.

They understand the Constitution, they know the truth, but they REFUSE to accept it. They hold to their own narrow minded views, while spouting off and calling Conservatives narrow minded, and refuse to acknowledge facts.

Mine is always on me, but I have thought of rigging a holster to my console for a snubby or something that I could get at quick. Only place I hate wearing mine on me is the bike. I do not want to be sliding down pavement on my ass and Kimber steel.

Kinda how I felt about it. I don't think anyone here is naive enough to think if someone really wanted to find out your info they could, but it's the ease of doing so that the database provides that is the issue. If someone wants to drive to the courthouse, pay 80 bucks, wait for a list, and then search to find me well that's fine, they must really want to see me I guess. My issue is that the CA did this for crappy reasons and with malicious intent. This type of crap should be stopped.

Completely missed this Poak! Find a movie called Brick with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It plays on Cinemax and you can find it at Blockbuster and such. It's an indie film that has that Film-Noir type feel. It's excellent.
