  1. Everyone I know that is a member there likes it. I've been a couple times as a guest and never had any issues. Everyone I met was very friendly. I'm gonna preface this statement by saying I worked at a range for almost 3 years and I saw alot of stupid ****. I'm sure there is a story about how I was an ******* to someone on the range and they weren't "doing anything wrong". After the 2nd time I almost got shot on the range I got to be pretty quick to correct people for even minor mistakes. The thing you have to take in to account about RSOs is that, while some do just take it WAY too seriously, they don't know you or anything about you and the easiest way to keep everyone and themselves safe is to assume you're an idiot. Point being I always wonder about the "range nazi" stories and how one sided it is on the storyteller's behalf. I say go for it man. Enjoy it.
  2. Seems Floridians like their "clips"!
  3. If it's UT it doesn't need to be posted. East_TN_Patriot nailed it. You need to check with UTPD, otherwise you're gonna end up in a bad way if someone sees it.
  4. You have the comprehension of a 4 year old. And I'm being gracious.
  5. Mine has never had any issues and proudly sits in my go bag with 200 rds of ammo, but it's awesome knowing if it has issues henry has such great customer service.
  6. Agreed. Like someone else said before, if they find out and want to fire you because you're carrying, even within the law, they'll find a way.
  7. SouthLAnd is my favorite right now.
  8. I agree to some extent, but here is where you have to view it reasonably. My home is not open to the public unless I specifically make it so. Nor is my property. I control what goes on here. Don't like it? Leave or wear the metal bracelets. Now, for example, I work at a hospital. I have heard more than a few times from people who have ended up enjoying a stay in the Shelby County jail that "This is a public place." Well no, not true. It's a private place, open to the public, but we still control what goes on here and what you can do inside. Don't like the rules? Leave or wear the metal bracelets. Pretty simple for those two, but, here's why I draw the distinction. My personal vehicle is my property. I bought it, I control it, I lock it, I'm responsible for it. Even though I park it on a company's property, what is inside it is still mine and my responsibility. If I have a pound of weed in the trunk is the CEO going down with me? Me thinks not. In a nutshell I think that physically carrying a gun on your BODY into a home or business that does not want it is a no go. I don't believe one right is more important, I believe they tie. Rock Vs. Rock, if you will. On the flip side of that, I believe your personal vehicle is a buffer. Call it a "gray area". I know it's not the best argument in the world, but it's my opinion on it.
  9. That was funny as hell. I loved the whole episode. Tim Olyphant just bring something really cool and calm to that character. I loved his dramatis step to the side when hillbilly boy was threatening him and his partner told him to move so she could shoot him basically lol
  10. Nothing I've seen him post in the last week even makes sense. He's been here since 2008, but all of the sudden he just starts up with all this random crap.
  11. Oh get out of here with that ****. I don't see "the average gun owner" beating down doors for this type of legislation. This has always been a permit holder and normal carrier issue. Most gun owners don't give a **** and that's why the laws are the way they are. Its a "special group" that wants this passed and it's those people who will get it passed, not the lazy average gun owner with a hunting rifle and Granddad's .38.
  12. After last season I didn't even bother with this one. If I want drama I'll watch TNT. They know it.
  13. I watched a thing on History one day and they interviewed two native Americans in Alaska who said they saw one and had a shot, but legend says if you kill a Sasquatch you will die in 7 years. I looked at my wife and said "Isn't that frigging convenient?!" lol
  14. Thanks for the responses guy. I've done the shakes and upped my calories so I'm slowly gaining. The main problem for me is my schedule so I have to watch myself because I don't want to start gaining and miss the gym lol Just a slow process for me.
  15. I don't think that'd fly. I agree though that they could always fire you for something else if they really wanted to. I hope this passes though.
  16. *pats back* Well you gave it a shot. Not your fault.
  17. Is there a way to bulk up doing it? I'm trying to go from my 180 up to about 195-200, but everyone I talk to just says it leaves you cut and slimmer. I'm already there I just want a little more mass.
  18. Who needs proof when there's a good pot to stir?! Lol
  19. You remind me of the short kid that followed the red headed bully around in A Christmas Story. You've added exactly zip to this thread except echo DRM constantly. I answered your request for threads where this has been brought up so now why don't you let the grown ups talk if you don't have anything else to add besides basically quoting DRM?
  20. More like you were seeking to stir **** up. I never asked for a pat on the back. I simply stated that you can't refute anything that's been said. You don't get to start a thread like this and control what people say. You've been here for 3 years and you really thought you would post this and get no debate? Please. Sell that crap somewhere else.
  21. Now I'm just confused. So you don't OC, at least normally, but you cared enough about it to start a thread and engage in it spiritedly because...? As far as nonsense goes, I may not have adhered to what you wanted for your thread but can you really say that myself, and others, haven't made valid points?
  22. That is some seriously funny **** right there. LMAO
