I is jealous. That is nice looking weapon man.

Yes the double backflip is definitely a hard one to hit Poak, but hopefully, if ammo prices lower, we could see them hit more in next year's game. Now back to Phil and Diane in the tower!
-
That's a pretty good website PWS. Seem to be good prices too.

I agree, but I'd rather get this in there and then work to get the amendment overturned and taken off than still be left with nothing at all.

ROFL There may be a few people smoking the wizard in my neighborhood, but that's about it lol

I still get like a little kid when I talk to someone like that. I used to listen to my Grandfather and Uncles go on for hours lol I miss that.

Yea that case was a fiasco on both sides of the court. His lawyer was not equipped to handle the case properly on firearms law it seemed and the prosecutor was really out to get this guy, but some bad judgements on Mr. Fish's part is what I think ultimately made him look guilty.
-
I think he's referring to the Harold Fish case. He shot his attacker with a 10mm Glock. The caliber was brought up in court, but his attorney was to ignorant to defend it properly and there were other circumstances that I, as well as others here, feel led to his conviction. Willis, carry what you feel comfortable with, but don't believe every LEO and attorney you talk to because, with a few exceptions, most of them don't know what they hell they are talking about.

Obama Orders GM and Doge out of NASCAR....
Punisher84 replied to BrandonTN's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
It says nothing more than if this had been printed a month ago everybody else here would have probably believed it too. I didn't even think about it being April fools until someone mentioned it earlier in the thread. I guess ya forget about those things once you're out of junior high. Well some of us at least. -
There's not any. It's gun rag "tactics".
-
Yea most restaurants stay open to 12 on fridays and saturdays. At least here in Memphis. Which is nice for me because sometimes I don't leave work on Saturday night until after 10.

Aww. Don't be hatin' on da Bear. He wrassles the Earth! I get that his show is staged, but I think for an entertainment show he's fun to watch. Les Stroud is OK, but the fact that he sets up the camera, then walks by it, then goes back to get it is just stupid! If you're starvin dude it doesn't matter if you got "the shot".

Kinda screaming "Pay attention to my disagreement!" ain't he?

Obama Orders GM and Doge out of NASCAR....
Punisher84 replied to BrandonTN's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That's because it's a magazine article and magazines are printed about a month prior. Could be a gag, but I doubt it. -
I have a few things from my local range, but that's about it. I don't wear anything really outrageous like a huge I HEART 1911's shirt or anything. I remember reading an article in one of the gun rags where they cautioned against it in everyday carry if you want to CC deeply because a gun or brand name could "out" you to a wise thug or some crap. I think if you were wearing a range t-shirt and someone randomly asked you what your shirt meant you might be able to have a healthy firearms conversation with them.

I actually don't think you're far from the truth. This is asinine. -
Since we're talking about jam...
Punisher84 replied to Trekbike's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
That's really odd. I'd suggest calling the manufacturer. -
12 and 20 are gauges. That's the size of the chamber of the shotgun. You can buy 12 gauge slugs, 12 gauge buckshot, 12 gauge birdshot, etc Same for 20 gauge. It's just different number of pellets and powder loaded into the shotshell of that particular gauge.

That's correct 24" barrel is too long for home defense. It's 6 inches of barrel you don't need. As far as the pump sound...it CAN be a deterrent, but don't rely on it. It may scare them off (probably will), but if it doesn't you HAVE to be prepared to fire that weapon in defense of your life. Where this comes from is hearing several people say "Well I could just keep it near my bed unloaded and the sound will scare away a burglar!" Don't believe Hollywood junk or some over eager salesman. It's a cool sound, but it is not a magic sound that automatically makes criminals run in fear. Birdshot is a type of load for a shotgun. There is #4 shot, 00buck, slugs, etc These are all types of ammo for shotguns. Shotguns don't really fire a "bullet" they fire pellets loaded into a shotshell. It's a ton of information to soak up, but you'll pick it up quick.

.380 ammo in stock and ready for sale!
Punisher84 replied to BimmerFreak's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I buy reloaded .380 from my local range for 13 bucks for 50 rounds. I am speechless as this asshatery. -
I have never had alot of debt personally. I had a hard spot a few years ago and had to use my cards for awhile for essentials because there just wasn't anything left after bills most of the time. I paid off my first card last month and I'm tearing the other 2 down now. Once they are out of the way the only things left are my bike which is a small debt anyhow, and my wife's car. My car is already paid off as of last summer. My goal is to have everything we owe paid off by 2010 hopefully. Then we are gonna start looking at houses.

Punisher84 replied to Trekbike's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
If he's not riding the slide forward I'd say it may be a case of the mag springs still being tight and when you load the mag to capacity there is that extra tension so the round might not get stripped out into the chamber properly. Try loading the mag one less round than full and use the slide release to drop the slide. -
I think the point is that most feel the government should never have been involved with any of this in the first place.

I like mine for my 1911. I use it when I do training classes just to add an extra step of complication to the drill.
