No. I don't believe they should be "forced." I don't think what David is trying to do is scare tactics or to force anyone to change the way they do business. I think the point of this, as is the point of any protest, is to bring attention to a cause. The media has branded us as hillbillies with guns itching for a fight. That is simply not the case.

I think you can be a realist and still fight for change. This may not be the way you would go about it, but I would ask what would you do? We called, wrote, e-mailed and this thing got passed several times over. Then, we are struck down by an idiot with a pen. Now it's rinse and repeat. I like David's idea. I think it's something to start with. We are not the bad guys. We are not the rapists, murderers, thieves, and delinquents that bring so much pain and suffering to those they prey on. We are merely the people who wish to be able to make damn sure it doesn't happen to us.

I think everybody has thought long and hard Dave. I think everybody is just sick and tired of being told how to live their lives. I think most would rather TRY to do something and at least feel like they attempted to make a point, as opposed to just sitting at home doing nothing. I think you may be in the minority in the way you think.
