  1. I carried for a total of 30 minutes in a week in Destin. I drank and had a good time and just relaxed. I said "if I survived Memphis for 24 years and get killed in Destin, Florida during retiree season then this is where God wants me to die" lol I honestly wouldn't drink with your gun on you. It's just not a good idea. I really can't imagine it being legal either.
  2. Here's another vote for the military, but decide what you want to get out of it! If you want to try the life and get a good career skill consider Air Force, maybe Army depending on what you think you might want to do. If you want to travel then maybe Navy. Here is the other thing don't look for a "job" look for a "career". A job is what you do to make money, a career is what you do because you enjoy it.
  3. That's true. Never know when you might need a flathead screwdriver or a pair of pliers!

  14. Do NOT listen to that. It has to be separate from the ammo unless you have a permit. It's intent to go armed in TN otherwise.

  19. You're a lucky guy to still have him around Bronker! I had mine up until he was 85. We buried him next to Grandma in February. He was an artillery gunner in Italy. Got a bronze star in the Po Valley battle.
  20. Indeed. Well said! While it was a private matter, I will say the same for Volzfan. He is a true gentleman!
  21. I have chased criminals, ran miles in full combat gear in the heat, fired hundreds of rounds and rolled around in the mud, and NOTHING prepares you for a three year old running at full-tilt screaming I WANNA SEE THE BIG KITTIES!!!!!!! I'm much happier to be tired from this all day though. She did fall asleep first though, so I guess I won in the long run lol
