Hey guys and gals, I will be in Oak Ridge all next week for training and was wondering what there is to do during the off hours for me and my team. Any suggestions of good places to eat, drink, and hang out would be appreciated!

That is exactly what I was looking into today. The same thing happened after 9/11. I imagine rarely does a called in threat result in an actual device being found. But it'd be the one time you don't look into it that it happens.

Some idiot called a bomb threat in today at my work. Made for quite an interesting morning. I've got a feeling this stuff is going to happen more like it did after 9/11. All the nut jobs want to come out. Nothing to get your adrenaline going like looking through trash cans and rooms PRAYING you DON'T find a bomb.

I am too. I know everybody has their tinfoil on tight right now, but I see no connection WHATSOEVER to this being a "right wing, patriot extremist, etc" type attack. Even as a false flag event it makes no sense. There is nothing government or federal or whatever about a race. This is either al-qaida type work or some other foreign extremist group, or just a homegrown nut job.

If they hadn't let up or retreated I might could see a disparity of force argument, but they responded to an aggressor, dealt a few licks, and then backed off. I would even go so far as to say he may not have been charged just for displaying the firearm, but once he fired that was it.

I had a small reserve, but most of it is gone now just from simple range time. It's ridiculous. Best believe as soon as things even out I will be turning some stockpiled cash into stockpiled ammo.

  I wouldn't outright lie, but some of the stuff he says is valid. You have no obligation to answer most questions that are usually asked at stops. As far as anyone showing up at my house about a photo on Facebook wanting to see my guns...come back with a warrant and GTFO.

I won't be fully satisfied until I know it's completely dead, but this is pretty much what I expected and it is good news. I don't think the majority of politicians expected the fierce backlash they've gotten over all this. I'm waiting to see what happens in Colorado. I hope they run everyone who voted for that bill out of office.

Have her look at Pistol Wear and Looper Law Enforcement holsters. I use a pistol wear when I'm running, it's basically a belly band, and with a lgihter gun you never know it's there. The Looper holsters are specifically designed for women. My wife LOVES hers.

  I used to speak that same kind of nonsense in my younger days. I now call that the "lazy Christian". Usually it goes hand in hand with the "I'm gonna do what I want and act how I want, but I'll go to church on Easter and hey, John 3:16!" attitude on Christianity. Either you believe in your religion or you don't. I'll say one thing and one thing only in defense of many athiests I know, they are steadfast in their beliefs. Many Christians aren't and honestly, using Jesus as some sort of trump card probably isn't a good thought process.

Some people just have an ear for accents. Actors have to be versatile or they won't make it. I did some theater in my late teens and early 20s and had to do various accents. I will sometimes break into an Irish accent and imitate my late Uncle. Have to test it out when I go over there and see how off I am lol   As far as voice coaches go I had one when I worked as a radio intern for a year to help lose my southern accent when I was on the air. It's not too hard.
