  1. He's a friend of mine. Knows he shouldn't have done it... he even went through MY HCP class and I KNOW I covered the subject :-)but it doesn't seem like there is going to be any charges filed. Even the LEOs on scene said they would have done the same thing. The safety on the 12 gauge is the only thing that stopped him from splatterring the SOBs head all over the intersection. The guy left him zip tied in his office. He was able to break out and get the 12 gauge. The thing that has him more ticked off is the fact he HAD his 380 on him but he couldn't get to it. BG made him keep his hands over his head the entire time
  2. I've always put the unloaded gun in a ziploc bag, then wore the gun/baggie/holster around the house.
  3. If asked I'll tell them I'm authorized by the state (HCP) and the Federal Gov (Constitution) to carry a firearm....
  4. They have the right to ask..I have the right NOT to answer...or...anyswer is the most smart alek'ey way I ca nthink of at the time.
  5. Any threat gets treated the same...male female, shemale, alien, zombie...doesn't matter.

  7. The only place I know of around Middle TN is The ARmory in Lebnon. They Cerakote I believe...mixed reviews. I think the Outpost is a Robar authorized dealer
  8. I picked one up for 129.00 just to try it out. Now if it would work with the new 300 Blackout (according to AAC it won't) it would be even more gear queer awsome and yes I'd try it out
  9. I had a recurring dream where we were invaded by terrorists. I was proned out in my in laws pasture taking headshot after headshot as they were coming over a rise...never running out of ammo

    New Toy

I was toying around with the idea of another 7.62 rifle. I wanted something to run a can on with little or no problem. Ran up on a deal for a M1A SOCOMII in a Viltor stock. Nice, but it's not the easiest platform to suppress. So the search went on. Found a Remington 770 AAC-SD at the Outpost Armory and thought "awesome...already threaded†Did some dealing for a Leupold Mark 4 scope. The wife’s employment is going to be changing 1st part of next year, and Donelson Computers has had a couple of good months so I decided to go a bit nuts and change out the stock as well. I have been reading about the flex in the AACs factory stock leading to some vertical stringing and figuring I’m going to need all the help I can get in the accuracy dept I decided to pickup one of the AICS stocks. 15 minute install and the remmy went from “nice†to “N I C Eâ€. I don’t know if I’d ever drop the coin needed to buy a “real†AI gun, so this is probably as I’ll get to owning one…and I’m Ok with that…at least for now :-) (the picture sucks but my real camera is battery challenged at the moment)
  12. If they are dangerous to me or my students...no refunds. I will work with students to help them pass if they do fail the shooting portion. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
  13. As a instructor, I am of two minds on the permit thing. I believe in the 2nd admendment..but I've seen people who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a tac nuke. I have failed people on the shooting portion...never had anyone fail what is basically a open book test...yet. If someone was so bad they were dangerous to other students or myself...they would be asked to leave.
  14. We got our last Boxer from, Boxer Rescue...she is a awsome dog Test Adoptable

  21. I have The Osprey. It's close enough that I could pull it off, but after using the taller sights on my AAC 1911 I decided to go with them. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
