I've used Kroll OnTrack with good results. Pricey, but they were able to recover all the data

I started taking Krav the first part of Jan. Instructors are pretty good. Finding out just how out of shape I truly am.

I have a client who needs some Excel work done: I can tell you exactly what I need. Looks like estimated 10 hrs. It's 129000 lines of data. Exported into excel or access, formatted for POS RPRO import. I know the format but it's too many lines to be formatted, getting a misalignment corrupts the database and it's useless. We've done a lot of hats. I need to test the ALU #'s for integrity. Once the data is converted into an RPRO Format, we can come back with a quantity file just be ALU # Basically they're moving from one POS system to another. The data in the current POS system needs to be pulled into Excel and reformatted for import into the new POS. PM me if you have the skillset and are looking to make some extra gun fund money please

Hard to quantify personal taste. I have Glocks, Sigs, 1911s, some guns just "speak" to me. Most days I carry a 1911. This week for whatever reason I'm toting my Sig M11A1. Just did some trading for a MK25...probably going to run it in a class next weekend. find a buddy that owns a Glock and shoot it. I hit as well with Glocks as I do with Sigs...but my personal preference is for a metal gun. Hard to pistol whip someone with plastic :-)

CryptoLocker... remember that name. In a sea of fake FBI ransomware infections this one stands out. It actually does encrypt your files with high level RSA encryption. Antivirus/Antimalware doesn't catch it until AFTER it's delivered it's payload and encrypted your local AND network shares. Bad bad ju ju with this one. The latest variant wants $300.00 to unencrypt your files. DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING YOU CANT VERIFY INDEPENDANTLY. From what I've found the only two choices are 1. Pay the cyber kidnappers or 2. lose your files. They evidently do unencrypt your files, but whos to say they won't re-encrypt down the road for more money. Make sure you have GOOD BACKUPS. External hard drives not connected to your PC seem to make the most sense. Carbonite will backup the encrypted files. So far there is NO WAY to unencrypt the files. Removing the virus is easy...after the timer counts down it will even remove itself. The ONLY way to insure decryption of the effected files is to pay the ransom. For the geeks out there that want to read... http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/506924/cryptolocker-hijack-program/page-40?hl=%2Bcryptolocker#entry3178372

I had a lady in class who was from Brazil. She had never touched any handgun prior to class. When we started she was scared of the .22 pistol. When it came time to qualify she used one of my 1911s and did VERY well. Once they get past the "big scary gun" block and actually shoot it they find out why the 1911 is so loved.

HP Launched the first computer with hands free LEAP motion today.

I picked up a Leap controller @ Best Buy last week. Native Windows support is still glitchy. Took it back the next day. IF it's ever built into Windows/Mac as a native controller it'll be a different story -
Lebanon gun shop had a few. Nothing in my size so the search continues. Thurs looks to be taking me to the Smyrna/Franklin area(s) so we shall see

interderasting...like I need another gun store to visit :-) I'll have to check them out

I THINK Lebanon Gun Shop sells them, not sure. I'll find out Tuesday. Got a callout in their area. I have one but the Velcro is toast. I need to send it in for repair, but I need one of the thinner ones to use in the meantime. The replacement I picked up at LA Police Gear is a 1.5in...the only size they make with the stiffener in it. My CompTac holsters won't fit it. Of course I think LGS also carries Comp Tac so...they might have replacement/larger belt clips...hummmmm

Other than Greene Military who has Wilderness belts in stock? Looking for the 5 stitch instructors belt

Only problem I've had is some of the .45s I had suffered from some bullet setback when loaded. I called them, they took them back and replaced them with quite a bit extra thrown in for good measure.

Anybody practice drawing when buckled in your car?
dunndw replied to KahrMan's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
2nd gun hidden but easy to get to was my solution. I'm a lefty so there's pretty much no easy way to draw from my IWB while buckled in. -
Pincus suggests verbally warning home invader
dunndw replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
If you're trying to force entry into my home, I will attempt to warn you away. If you GAIN entry...the undertaker is going to need both hands to count the holes in you. I don't retreat when I'm in my home...end of friggin story. -
The adult bookstore is now a gunshop that actually sells guns. I have NO idea how Gun City stays open. It was a craphole numerous years ago when I first started shooting...and it couldn't have gotten better after losing their FFL. That place is like the Lenny of gunstores...someone who doesn't know any better goes there and thinks they're ALL like that and never goes to another one.

wonder if a row of high output IR led lights shining down on the plate would have any effect on the photographic quality. Seems to work on the baseball hats I've seen -
