Hmmmm better than the AAC Prodigy or Element 2?
-
Thanks man! I had to send it back to Salient for a new one though. I still haven't received my replacement.

Any one know where I can get some cardboard targets locally to Nashville? Nashville armory sells some paper ones, I'm just looking for real ones and don't wanna pay $15 shipping. Need them by this weekend...

Well I went ahead and purchased the 9mm octane from silencer shop. Now for a .22 suppressor for my 15-22.

Ok so update. I tool the rifle shooting a little bit more and I continued to have a stovepipe problem. I dropped in a different BCG and I had zero issues. I sent the BCG back to Salient and it looks like i had a weak ejector spring? Regardless a different BCG had no issues. I cant figure out how to attach a video or i would show you.

Wow that is a good deal.

Would you have gotten a Octane 45 and just had 1 suppressor? I like the idea of having a dedicated 9mm suppressor but I'm wondering if the db trade off is worth it. The only .45 i have right now is a Kimber 1911, but i don't plan on suppressing it. And the baffles are a major plus for the Octane.

Ok guys so I'm still waiting for my Surefire SOCOM-556-RC form 3 to clear. But in the mean time i'm looking to purchase a 9 mm can. I wanting to run it on a glock 19 and a MP5 clone. I'm thinking a SilencerCo Octane 9 HD 2. Do any of you guys have this can? I'm thinking the SilencerCO over the AAC because of the stainless baffles. Let me know what you guys are thinking!

In the video of this, they say that the Lower is a registered SBR. -
I have a LC9, and had S&W Bodyguard .38 A buddy of mine had the 638, and I was able to shoot it on occasion. He sold it and got a SW Shield and I sold my Bodyguard. I prefer the LC9 to a revolver 1.) Capacity 7+1 rounds vs 5 Rounds 2.) Reloading the speed strip is roughly the size of a spare LC9 mag, but it is much easier to shove a 7 round mag in to the LC9 vs 2 rounds at a time with a "speed strip". 3.) Recoil, 9mm semi auto seemed less then a .38+p. But regardless they both suck. 4.) Size the LC9 is thinner thus easier to put in your waistline. 5.) Sights. XS big dots on the LC9 makes the gun much easier to shoot vs (as far as i know) no after market sights for 638 and only a front site for the Bodyguard .38 With all that said... Id rather have a Shield then the LC9

Geissele Triggers: Worth It?

SD-E in my AR and I love it. I've had a ALG ACT also very nice. But nothing compares to the SD-E -
I had a PA micro dot that i took through a Fighting Rifle class. On day 1 it rained and some moisture got inside. After it heated up when the rain was gone the sight fogged up. We had 2 in that class that this happened too. I returned that dot to PA and got the newest micro dot that came out just a few days ago that says "waterproof" https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary_Arms_Micro_Dot_Removable_Base_Gen_II_NV_p/md-rbgii.htm Here's a pic of the dot that failed. I ran it on an MP15-22 for most of the class. I have an Aimpoint T-1 on the AR.

Ya Robert said we cant start the form 4 until the form 3 is approved and the suppressor is transferred to them. Oh well... Form 3 submitted 6/20/14 and the wait begins. -

Ok so I purchased the suppressor. Silencer shop already submitted the for 3 for the dealer transfer. New they sent me an email with the serial number of the can. So can I submit my form 4 now that I have that information or must I wait for the suppressor to show up at G&L then submit. -

I have heard of that. But who knows when e-file will be back up. My understanding that form 4 will be the last one to be fixed. And may never come back. -
Well now that my rifle is completed I'm buying a suppressor!! Decided to go the trust route and I'll be using John Wells. John seems like a cool guy he's even accommodating me because I can not get away from work to meet him. Ill be purchasing a Surefire SOCOM-RC. I'm thinking about using Guns And Leather. Mostly because they will allow me to shoot it at their range while its in jail.

For sure! I just shot at Montgomery County Shooting Range last Saturday.

Ok! so i finally got to shoot this baby. And man its flippin awesome!!! Sited it in at 50 with a aimpont t1 2moa then tried my luck at 300yards. Ive never had the opportunity to shoot that far. and it was difficult with a no magnification red dot. I was shooting just bulk federal XM193 55gr. I had to use my old BUIS for making the dot smaller. (stigmatism) but my magpul pros are in and i like them a lot. This pic was taken at the 200 yard target. I was a little high at 200. no pictures... sorry. Now it wasn't super windy but there was some wind. I shot 7 times only 5 hit the target at the 300 with bulk xm193 After shooting. The bolt looks better dirty than clean
