Grandad's old goose gun Agreed - Yikes it literally screwed me into the mud & wore the big blue mark on my shoulder for days:cry:

I'm gonna make some calls to some of the TGO vendors and see what they have available. Then I'll go with him to see how it fits and points. I don't think he's gonna carry initially, however, will get more details when he gets back from his post-grad/pre-work road trip. Looks like 9mm ammo might be tough to find from what I read, too bad he won't consider 40SW or 45acp - reload for those and have plenty. Oh well! Hey thanks so much for all the great feedback - I'll post as things develop!

How hard is it to relocate an AR front sight?

Do the front sight base pins get driven out in a particular direction? -
The 1903A3 can really bite you if your not hugging it tight.

Have not been to either, however, will be making a trip to south store in June. Good advise in the pre-paper work. I'm so excited!

My son just graduated from college and wants to purchase his first pistol. He has fired my Glock, XD, & HK - 45acp & 40SW pistols, however, after firing his buddies 9mm he likes that round the best. With that he's decided he'd like a Beretta 92F. What are the general opinions on this pistol Used or new Price guidlines Where's a good spot to purchase here in Mid-TN I don't have much experience with the Beretta - appreciate your input.

I've never been to one, sounds fun. Is it a good place to try and sell my 1903A3 Remington? -
WOW! Very nice, you gotta be happy with that.

Just wanted to clarify - I ordered MY LMT upper and BCC online on 12/30, got word today my upper is in and BCC a week away. I was told 6-8 weeks when I ordered and it looks like it's right on schedule. I was just curious about LMT owner feedback - which looks darn good! Got it from Quanticoarms.com and they held their price LMT L7UB1 * Description LMT M4 Upper Receiver 16" with Flash Suppressor, No Charging Handle or Bolt Carrier Group Out of Stock. Price Our: $485.00 Retail: $485.00 You Save: $0.00 No upcharge for Credit Card and charges apply when parts ship. http://www.quanticotactical.com/

I had been saving my $ and was gonna buy a CMMG AR15 upper at a local shop, now gone none for weeks or months at any store I visited. So I ordered an on-line LMT upper with LMT BCC, M4 carbine rails, LMT rear sight, and a Bushnell Trophy red dot. Didn't want to do a panic buy, however, didn't want to wait for weeks for a CMMG or a Sabre and see a big $ jump. Thoughts on my LMT selection? Thanks

Just thought I post a pic of some of the accuracy potential of the CZ453 Varmint at 100 yards. Scope Bushnell Banner 6-24x40 mil-dot (great little scope for the $) The pic is of 50 rounds of Blazer 22 LR ammo (cheap stuff), cross wind 10-15 mph right to left, ambient temp 45F. Shooting 10 rounds at a time from a poly mag, rapid as possible cycling bolt and coming back to target center. It does have the set trigger, however, this was using base trigger set at 3.5 lbs. What a hoot!

Looking for recommendations on a Nashville area gunny to install a barrel blank on my Remington 700 action. Would require threading, reaming, head-spacing - the whole shebang. Your thoughts!

My "tinfoil" hat is causing my scalp to itch. I think it's due to the magnetic feedback I'm getting from the friction of the melting ice caps Guess that's gonna require a bailout! None of it makes any sense! -
Makes a person want to drive out and compete in a match. I'm not sure where my stock Glock 35 would put me, need to get me a holster and some mag holders. Recommendations! Great youtube vide!

Think I saw one on display at Hero Gear this evening. Great store & folks! No price gouging.

My stories similar, uncle down in Mississippi, I'm about 11 years old, not sure of the make, however, it was 10 gauge goose gun. Long barrel, hurt my shoulder, twisted me so hard in the mud - my shoe came off. Come to think of it I remember my nose bleeding a little from my thumb bumping it. I wanted to fire it again, he just snickered at me and said I'd get another chance.

Have a Garand that stays in the safe until I take it out and shoot it (every other week - dang addicting). It is a Springfield 44 one of my favorites. Built by very good Garand builder - Incredibly accurate Not sure how practical it is.

Have a hankerin for a wheel gun and am thinking about a 4-6" 45 ACP revolver. Any opinions about one brand over another and who carries a good selection of them in Mid-TN area? Thanks

I have a G35 with a 9mm & 357sig conversion barrels. Pretty cool to be able to shoot multiple calibers on one platform.

Not a quiver, not a shake, I was impressed!

He was a hack on ESPN - a Bob Costus wanna be high on his own estrogen. Hmmm - I guess I don't like him much:rolleyes:
