Maybe its just here. Could be entirely up to the local manager for all I know. But its getting worse and the vast majority of the people who are dying now are un-vaccinated. Taking the vaccine or not is a personal choice. I can respect that. But this is a major HEALTH issue. Over 600,000 Americans are already dead. Why are so many trying to make it political? I'm all for freedom, but it doesn't matter if you're dead.

Didn't specify. So I guess its everybody. A few weeks ago it was masks for the un-vaccinated. A couple of weeks ago the mask signs disappeared. Now its back to everybody. From what I've been seeing on the news, I'm expecting another lock down soon.

Just got back from a quick trip to my local Kroger. The "Mask Required" signs are back up. Get ready for another round folks.

Their company, their rules. Either accept it or quit. Covid is making a big comeback. The Delta strain is kicking butt big time and expected to get much worse. Companies requiring vaccination are just trying to stay in business. At the current rate, I fully expect requiring masks to be back soon. I also wouldn't be surprised if we ended up back in full lock down.

Hard to pick just one. I love 1911s and S&W revolvers. Doesn't really matter what model. I suppose if I had to pick just one, it would be my S&W Model 18 .22lr. I shoot this one more than any other gun I own.

EPA cracked down on lead wheel weights. They are pretty much all gone. The owner of Tennessee Valley Bullets is a friend of mine. For years when I was working, I'd collect our wheel weights and trade them to him for cast bullets. He's pretty much out of business now. Can't find enough lead. Now its just a side job for him and he only casts for friends and long time customers.

Just announced on the local news. The I-40 Bridge is now completely open to traffic both ways. TDOT said they got the construction clean up done ahead of schedule and reopened earlier than expected.

I've had run ins with both water moccasins and tornadoes. So far I haven't been bit or hit. But I have hit everything else on that list at one time or another. I LOVE this state!

When I was a kid, I had one of the Man From Uncle toy pistols with the rifle accessories. It used a separate metal magazine that you loaded a roll of caps into and them inserted it into the gun like the real thing.

Dusty Hill, the legendary bass player for ZZ Top passed away in his sleep last night. Damn! They are one of my all time favorite bands. I really hate to hear this. He will be sorely missed.

I was browsing a totally innocent website when an ad popped up advertising ladies clothing and a holiday sale for National Orgasm Day. Curiosity took over and I looked it up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Welp, my trip out of town got cancelled. Why? Their car broke down and they're busy trying to get it fixed. At least I got mine fixed today. Looks like trouble comes in bunches.

Must be something in the air. I'm going out of town tomorrow and this morning the check engine light came on in the car. Cyl 1 miss fire. Probably not much to it. Just bad timing. Oh well, much to do today. I guess I'll just drive my truck.
