  1. If an organization allows rights and privileges to be negotiated away that didn’t belong to them to begin with what do you call it? NRA. WC Clinton’s ought to include domestic violence arbitrarily stripped the rights of many who on the advice of counsel pled no contest to domestic violence. Welcome to the people control age and liberty is just a word in the dictionary
  2. Buying one of these 80% deals is like leaving a trail of bread crumbs to your front door. Running your mouth about anything that requires a license or a fee collected on is going to attract unwanted attention. The wind is not in our favor at all if it ever was. I see a round up on the horizon and as stated earlier (legal today no Bueno tomorrow)
  3. Walnut from this part of the world is utility grade. I have some dry stuff in the attic that I could be traded out of. We have too much annual rainfall and this causes the grain to be open. PM me for Pic's of it
  4. The train station is the only cure for that
  5. He is a good'n forever more. My favorite species
  6. 6mm-06 was pretty popular for a time. I have one and it has a 30 degree shoulder angle. If a 06 case will go in it you could fire form it without a projectile and measure out what you get
  7. I bought my Enco milling machine for $700 knowing it needed a new collet and chuck. The vice that came with it is worth a couple hundred. If you keep a hook in the water the rite machine will show up sooner or later
  8. When it doesn't go into full battery it's either the ammo or the extractor. Sometimes a really stiff recoil spring will help but the root problem is the ammo. As far as matches go a spare barrel and a few minutes to make sure everything drops in smoothly is worth the time it takes.
  9. I will tell you WWB is better than having no ammo at all but not the most consistent or most reliable stuff out there. Good luck with anything made over here. Stuff is slam bam thank you mam and out the door.
  10. It's a WW1 Imperial that was re barreled and proofed commercial N. Those Gew 98's had a straight bolt so it was bent or forged over and ground. The reason they made them in different chamberings than 8 mm was many countries didn't allow civilians to own anything in a military caliber
  11. Does it say GEW 98 or ? It is not a Commission 88. There could be some Imperial markings on the bottom of the receiver or Bolt somewhere.
  12. Where the cut out is on the receiver
  13. I have had my share of issues with ailments and disease. Hard not to see all the folks far worse off than me. I have good insurance and a family support system that I'm very thankful for
  14. It looks like it was set up for a double claw mount at one time. What does it say on the side rail? Kar 98? I have seen a few rounds laying around over the years for these. Kynoch 9x57. It could be a small ring action. It was put together between the wars as stated above.
  15. Get yourself some firecrackers and you won't even have to go to the range. Just shoot them out the front door
  16. 12 Gauge with # 4's will get the most meat but you have to lead them a little to keep from shooting them to pieces
  17. The state of Comiefornia foiled again.
  18. Liberal goober smoocher's ? A lot of problems have a way of starting out one way and ending up another. Control and Money always seem to enter the equation from both ends. Whatever Va. is now as stated above is truly controlled by the carpet baggers. Another has reared his ugly head in the Commonwealth to our North to nobody's surprise.
  19. Ronnie is your best bet. I may have a # for him somewhere. He lived in Madison the last time I talked to him.
  20. It will shoot 2 3/4 but you'll have to take your knife to pull them out. Trap loads only with 3 Dram equivalent or less. You have been warned
  21. I will add that many of these are chambered for 2.5 inch shells. I have shot several of these with Trap loads but no field or high brass stuff. There are people walking around with one eye because they thought these wouldn't blow up and didn't have eye protection on
  22. Control is an illusion
  23. I do not have a great deal of schooling but I do have a real education. When someone unknown to me offers to give me something I am suspicious of their reason. There's a handful of things in this world that I'm not going to pay anybody for. This will not change anything for me but I have always thought it was wrong to connect a CCP with a license pate #. The fewer the lists that I'm on the better I like it. Peace out
  24. Martial Law is the only way a dictatorship can begin
  25. The ammo your shooting is OK. SIG should have said we started selling this handgun before it was thoroughly tested and quality assured during production. Show us some pictures of fired primers
