  1. The photo one and direct from Photobucket
  2. Thank you, if your not to tired to fool with it. I've had surgery and will be around for a while. Sunfish
  3. I'm really struggling with this. I now have a Photobucket account and when I paste the photo in the URL box it comes up but when I try to save it the picture disappears. The pictures seem big and I just don't get it. I need to learn how to post several pictures and I can't figure out how to post one. I'm using a Nikon Coolpix pocket for a camera and windows 10 for a computer. Any Help would be appreciated. Sunfish
  4. Anything with less than 3 inch horns is not a legal buck. How the TWRA does anything lately is a mystery. They throw a cloth over it say a few words and poof the money disappears. With the recent jump in fees for a sportsman license that I buy to hunt on my own land for nearly 14 years because I own it jointly with another guy whom I'm not related tells me they are all about the money. Everything else is secondary
  5. Midway USA dropped Has Matt fees from  $28 to $18. Don't wait until you are out to order because of shipping backlog. I'm pretty sure you can order 64lbs with one fee so put your money together with friends and save even more. Sunfish
  6. I saw one many years ago in Lewis co. KY. I was with my Dad and his first cousin in a car. We all just looked at one another as if ran up a steep bluff. We never saw it again. Lots of people tried to dismiss it as another animal but we all knew that nothing else had a long tail like that could go straight up like it did. This would have been around 1970.
  7. Straight wall pistol cases like the 9mm is where you will see pressure jumps from seating to deep. For instance those 147 gr. Gold cups can run it way up but you have to make them short enough to go in the magazine. Always try 2 or 3 before loading a tray full. Go easy with any small volume case and don't be afraid to lose a gr. when you start compressing powder. That's why the old guys all start low and go up slow and watch your OAL. Sunfish
  8. Land between the Lakes is a good spot. Days are pretty short this time of year
  9. Wolf Gold will run in a MG where UMC won't. Go figure
  10. I have had a good bit of success with AA 2520. It has a  reputation at Camp Perry that goes back a very long way. Automatic's are very different animals than bolt actions. AA2700 works great in 06 Garand's. Try some Federal match primers if your loading for bolt action.
  11. Remington primers leave a lot less residue than Winchester in the large rifle variety
  12. Pete, I have used the bake on aerosol stuff from Brownells and its pretty tough but not as tough as Cerakote.  I had a home made oven/grill with a LP burner I used to do long guns in. It's best to wait until warm weather and get outside because that MEK is really stinky
  13. I'd go with a piston instead of DI in case you ever decide to run a can
  14. The #'s on these were limited in two ways. Production was low and hardly any were imported
  15. I doubt you would ever need any parts for moderate use. I imagine magazines are hard to come bye. Light years ahead of  P-64's and the sheet metal Wanads.
  16. The extractor spring and or dried grease can cause what you describe. Your lucky that it's only doing it on the last round
  17. Many years ago before concealed carry was where it is today Kentucky had a concealed weapon statue. I walked in a small store where everyone knew me with a 5 shot smith handle sticking out of my front overall pocket. So happened a State police whom I knew was standing and eating a sandwich and in between bites he said Mr. (my Name) it's against the law to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Kentucky. My reply Mr. (his name) it's not concealed if you saw it.
  18. A good thrower like a Redding will actually cut long grain powder. Never weigh out 100 grains of Pyrodex you must trust me on this.
  19. The explosive stuff like Speer TNT have velocity limits and work in 22 Hornet. They also work in 222
  20. There is a guy in Columbia named Danny Johns 931-388-2134 ask him
  21. Suing the federal government is like wrestling a pig in the mud. The longer it drags out the more of your money disappears and the grayer your hair gets. Parasites kill their victims painfully slow
  22. That PPU ammo is decent shown with the target. That Romanian stuff is stinky and the bullet is light. Locate some 70's Yugo or M75 sniper ammo and you will realize your rifles potential.  You have to clean up with warm soapy water before putting it up.
  23. Shoot until they are down. Cooperate with Authority's but do not make any statement before hiring an attorney. Keep your mouth shut
  24. 147's are hard to keep short enough to work. These would really have to be pushed in and I can see where it would be easy to go from squib to over pressure. The 38 super crowd might have better luck with the longer case.
  25. My SR CMD will sometimes fail to close all the way. It's like it has a rough place or something. The recoil spring might be a little weak on mine but yours being a new gun should be OK. Look you fired cases over real good and see what the rim looks like. I wouldn't go to cutting on the extractor yet. It could be a little tight in the slot or have a burr. Notice if it drops the hulls in different places or together.
