  1. Bad is a good word. Wrong is another fine word. They should put together a football team and have games with cheerleaders and a band. The Libtards against the skinheads. With live TV coverage of coarse. No Gatorade or water just beer in aluminum cans (no glass allowed)
  2. Any state that borders TN is OK for long guns. As stated above no handguns.
  3. The land around Gallatin has gotten pretty valuable and my thoughts are it will need to be located way out in the County and far from city hall. Regardless it's going to require a considerable investment and the insurance premiums will be costly.
  4. I'm 60 now and it was all over before I was 18. I watched the news and remember how poorly the men were treated when returning home. Calling them baby killers and protesting coast to coast. Several older friends and brothers of friends were forever changed by that war.
  5. My ankles and around my waist line seems to be their favorite place to dine. Hi powered permethrin should only be sprayed on clothing and shoes. A friend sprayed his arms with it and got a rash that was almost as bad as the chiggers
  6. Always put the clothes you had on in the washer right away. With me it takes about ten days to go away using the 10 % itch cream
  7. Sunfish

    Robbed.

Did the alarm not Sound? No Cameras? Holy Cow a sack full of handguns and a long gun back through that hole.
  8. By your self a Schuster from MidwayUSA and learn to use it. It makes the Garand gas system adjustable for ammo other than M2 ball that as stated above is not on every shelf. Many will not feed much but ball and pointy soft points. When hunting with mine I have one softpoint in the pipe and ball behind it. Hold her back with the bottom of your hand while pushing down on the enbloc until it locks in then tuck your thumb (while holding it open) and rotate your hand up and back.
  9. Incidents are one thing accidents are another. As others have already said I hope the person is going to be OK. I saw the aftermath of a incident with a Virginia dragoon in 44 mag that ruined an acquaintance's left arm. It was being carried upside down in a shoulder holster when it fell straight down and a 240 gr. hit his left arm above the elbow and exited near the arm pit. That was 40 years ago and every time I see a single action revolver I instantly have a flashback of his arm.
  10. Make sure you have enough bell on the case mouth .452 can be a balancing act if you don't.
  11. It's easy enough to spook the deer just walking in. Even when its wet and going in way before daylight. Climbers are to noisy your better off with multiple ladder stands so you can sit in different spots depending on their movement
  12. Those bags last and last they have a slight Oder but it does not linger. 200 for a hour works for me I keep them in the safe along with a golden rod.
  13. I don't think either side cares what the other thinks. If it were up to me I would let them all come armed and at the first sign of trouble I'd roll them along the curb with water cannons and when they thought it was over I unleash the dogs for a laugh. If anyone was left after that I'd Taze and throw them in the wagon full of gas. After a couple lessons of what trouble really is they wouldn't want it very often if ever. Basically when outsiders come looking for action it wounds my heart when they go home empty handed.
  14. Yesterday I wrapped the pistol in three layers of wax paper and placed it in the holster and worked it in and out for a time. It improved greatly. I have not figured the thumb brake out entirely as it's still quite difficult to snap while wearing it. It's as though it runs from you when trying to snap it.
  15. Thanks to all I believe I can take it from here. Sunfish
  16. Has anyone ever tried putting Red Wing boot oil on a stiff holster? Got one for my Redhawk from Ruger and I don't want to mess it up but it needs something.
  17. The more you stir it the worse it smells. Improper is a good summary.
  18. 231 is a clean choice for 45 ACP. I don't have any experience with that bullet but getting the cases all the same length with a taper crimp should produce some accurate stuff.
  19. I'd guess the LT means Leather Tooling and the G for the Name. WAG?
  20. It wont be hard to direct the water around your stairs
  21. Very few taxes are lifted once they are in place. If you want someone to sponsor something in that crew you must sell it as free money. Meaning lift the wait keep the registration and taxes. Politicians only have one thing on their brain and no time for anything else. It doesn't make any difference if they are already rich they still want more. It's burned into their PC. ( Power and Control )
  22. The TBI picks and choses the cases based on God only knows what. Try to get them to look into political corruption at a local level and see the results.
  23. If there's a fair amount of tension on the neck your OK. I crimp whenever I have to flair the case mouth mostly
  24. She needs to just go ahead and Sue them for false arrest etc. because their apology does not even the score. She probably wont get anything but she can inconvenience them to the point they did her.
  25. Everybody needs something that shoots 7.62 x 39
