  1. Yes, especially with the influx of officers that believe they should be the only ones armed.
  2. Gun show? Gun shop?
  3. I've had mine almost 2 years now with around 5-600 rounds down the pipe with zero malfunctions, and I believe for the money they are as good or better than a lot of the competition.
  4. Prayers sent from east Tn I hope the best for you brother.
  5. My Sig sp2022 is my carry gun it goes on the nightstand with a light attached its 15+1 also have my 870 in the closet which is on my side of the bed loaded with buckshot 6+1 capacity.
  6. While the original is a great piece of movie history I think they did a great job with this remake. Maybe it's because this version is of my generation, I'm 25 years old.
  7. Lucky, I'm looking at 40 more years of buying them at full price, my best friend has a 2 year old we hooked him up with a lifetime license. When I have kids I'll make sure to get them one also.
  8. Harvested with the best electric saw on the market so as to do it humanely, with no emissions
  9. I have a couple primos open reed calls and I have their coyote hunting video with Randy Anderson. I have the howler too, practice makes perfect but it doesn't hurt to listen to electronic caller clips to get an idea of what you need to try and mimic. Many a coyote and fox have been called in with a rabbit sqealer.
  10. I'm also in agreeance that a long gun would draw attention, so something like an AR or pump shotgun that could be easily taken down and reassembled would be a good choice I don't know of much else that can be easily taken down with little or no tools.
  11. I'm also pretty certain that Kentucky allows loaded long guns in the passenger compartment I think it has to be in plain view. That's what I've read and discerned from the internet using Kentucky state police website.
  12. Magazine can be loaded chamber must be empty.
  13. Ar in the trunk, ammo in the passengers compartment. From my uunderstanding that would keep you legal in a traffic stop. An 18" shotgun wouldn't be a horrible choice you could defend yourself and take game for food. With wood stocks it wouldn't look militaristic.
  14. I'm not much of a wheeler dealer as some would say I'm more of a name your price and I'll name mine and if we can meet then fine if not ill buy elsewhere. My best friend is one of those who won't stop until the deal is beat to death.
  15. Prayers being sent upward
  16. I have a companion I purchased this summer the high carbon blade and for the money there is no competition, I am gonna start a little collection of them and give my nephews one when I think they are old enough. Not that they aren't old enough for a knife but one that sharp.
  17. I bought a stealthcam it's been awesome it's infrared it was like 80 bucks 2 years ago.
  18. Thanks for your help Dolomite, I'll post pictures when I get it done, before and after
  19. For $106 I think I'll try it the other way first
  20. I will probably do this after I remove the 2 sights.
  21. It has a generic front sight soldered in place it looks like a rifle front sight. It has a fine blade. My uncle can solder but I was planning on using jb weld
  22. Yes it's on a scrap piece of barrel so no matter what I have to do I can get it off
  23. Easier, most definitely. But IF you can find them they sell for 130 new and 75 to 100 used. I bought this barrel for 50 and I found someone who will sell me the end they cut off a barrel with the right front sight for 5 bucks. This would give me the platform for the big dot then I would have 110 bucks in an 18" barrel with big dot front sight. Instead of almost 200 if I just go out and buy everything.
  24. The only problem with this is it won't fix my sight alignment my barrel is smooth and the factory smooth barrels use a pedestal with a bead on top so the sight aligns right, but you did answer my question the sight is removable, with heat I'm assuming.
  25. Maybe one of you guys can answer my question. I have a Remington 870 with an 18 inch barrel that someone has cut down and put an aftermarket front sight on, something like you find on a 22 rifle. And the point of impact is way off, I have to aim low. My question is how hard is it going to be to remove this sight and also remove a factory front sight from a Remington 18 inch smooth barrel and reinstall it on to my barrel. My end goal is to have an xs big dot but I think I'll need the factory pedestal type front sight to get the right sight alignment.
