  1. I hate worse than anything to be treated as if I don't know what I'm talking about, I hate it worse than just being ignored. Im not a bs'er I hate people that do, If I say something it will be backed by knowledge. If I'm stating my opinion I will say its just my opinion. If I don't know something I won't just make up something to make myself look good, usually I do the opposite and play dumb to see how knowledgeable someone else is. Where exactly is guns and leather from oak ridge or harriman I would love to visit sometime.
  2. There are plenty of other places around but its the only one I can think of with an indoor range. I really like predator custom shop they have always had time to look up things and answer questions for me and if they didn't know the answer they didn't b.s. me. Plus they have some really cool toys to look at. Gander Mtn. is high but they have so many guns and they are all out where you can handle them.
  3. dang my 4cyl tacoma will do better with 32 inch tires, lol what a dumba** seriously if you can't do a burnout in a corvette you need to quit life.
  4. The thing that pisses me off the most is I have been in there several times and every time I go in there the sales reps treat me like I have never seen a gun before or couldn't possibly have any knowledge about firearms. I may only be 21 but I have plenty of experience with firearms. From the time I was about 11 till I was 17 we had a gunshop at my house that my stepdad owned and operated when my stepdad would goto an amory school I would always study his materials when he got home. I built a smith and wesson revolver at 14. I used to disassemble and clean guns at our gunshop all the time. The last time I went in there all the sales rep knew was that glock was indestructible and everything else was s***. I was wanting to look at a springfield xd but ended up leaving in discouragement. I had the money to rent one and shoot it but this idiot didn't have time for me. I keep going back to see if the environment has changed I have never spent a dime there.
  5. I have played all three plus I play pc. I am not a huge fan of the ps3, I have never liked the playstation controllers I like to play skate on ps3 and thats about it. The wii has so many "interactive games" which makes it incredibly fun for me, no its not high def but you can surf the web for free and download old nes, super nes, and n64 for it. The wii has a news and weather channel so you can check in if the TV is tied up. Memory comes in the form of sd or sdhc memory cards which can be had anywhere and are cheap. Online play is free on the wii but I haven't had the opportunity to do so. Games like wii fit and wii sports resort make the wii great. I have splinter cell for the wii and while the graphics aren't amazing I think the gameplay is better than on my xbox. The xbox 360 is by far the best for online gaming. I play modern warfare II online. The only downside is having to have the subscription but it is worth the fee. I can play any style game on the 360 but my favorite is racing. The pc is of course the best for online as well as fp shooters but if your like me and you only have a laptop you can't get too serious in pc gaming.
  6. Plan for economic collapse Government protocols for Economic Collapse "The 6900 Series of Treasury Rules" >> Four Winds 10 - fourwinds10.com my stepdad turned me onto this sounds crazy but will make you think
  7. Nintendo Wii, Guitar Hero 5, Mario Kart, Realtree Hardwoods bedding, money, good eating 2 days in a row, another christmas with my family and my girlfriend and her family.
  8. I really liked my job until they started screwing around with my hours, the week before thanksgiving they cut me to 16, this week they cut me to 11. Thankfully im starting school at ut in the spring and ill be transfering to the western ave autozone, but I don't plan on staying there for long I will probably try to find something a little closer to home like maybe oak ridge or oliver springs
  9. this is great I just sent this to all my retrosexual friends
  10. I like to fish when i have time i fish for anything, I have been musky fishing a couple times haven't caught one yet but have been with guys when they caught them. x2 on the catch and release only on muskie it takes several years for one to grow to a trophy size (40"+) I have a few muskie baits my stepdad and I used to make ans sell on ebay, they are pretty good at least in our fishing holes
  11. I killed my first deer with my ruger m77 mkII in 22-250 with 52gr noslers. Lethal on anything coyote size or smaller, I have shot crows, squirrels, one groundhog. With a deer you have to pick your shot of course a neck shot is the best, it will do ok in the traditional behind the front shoulder shot but much more humane to shoot in the neck unless you absolutely love a neck roast, I never butcher that far up the deer.
  12. man garufa your good Im glad you told me I was going to try and shoot that thing this weekend lol
  13. I have a cleaning cradle that I could strap it into and use a string or stick I will try it here at my house maybe tomorrow/ later today I have probably 150 rds if it works. The only thing I am worrying about is on each side of the receiver there is a spot that looks like it has been ground or possibly welded and ground? As far as function everything works great I even made a snap cap for it out of an empty hull and a pencil eraser.
  14. Ya lol. Can anyone tell me about the markings on it? It also has DP stamped in it in several places any help would be great, I have had this gun since my dad passed in 97 and have never shot it or even knew exactly what it was.
  15. well one year later I finally get around to posting picks of my rifle
  16. looks like you guys had a great time, sucks that I missed it but if we could plan one for after christmas im sure I could make it. I don't have anything extravagant but my 12 gauge is fun as well as my AR I do have this old 303 British rifle that I have never shot but I have plenty of ammo for. It was my dads just been afraid cause its pretty old.
  17. That is fantastic, I put a link to it on my facebook status. I know it would mean alot to me if I were a soldier and recieved a card from anyone at all I just hope my card goes to some troop who really needs it.
  18. I found this picture on ebaumsworld.com this is how I think we fix the problem in the Middle East
  19. U got you judy chop your karate chop and your ninjer chop
  20. Only if it wasn't so far. 193 miles one way if I use I75s and I24w or 166 miles if I go down highway 27 to I24 thats a haul especially since I have to work saturday morning
  21. I have played the heck out of it all weekend my stepdad got on boxing yesterday and was really gettin into it he was breaking a sweat and everything lol. I want to get the zapper and a couple good first person shooters. I was playing Call of Duty Modern warfare II on my nephews 360 last nite it is really good I want it for pc.
  22. My girlfriend and I got each other a Wii to share im posting from it now. It uses some form of Opera. Pretty neat!
  23. Dang I work 1pm till 9pm on saturday or I would drive out I haven't shot my 870 in a little while I always like to fill sandwich bags with flour they make a cool cloud and wash right away. If I can hear about a get together the week before I can usually ask off.
  24. My stepdad and I were members of oak ridge at one time he had a remington 700 ltr and A baker built Winchester in 30 fbi we would shoot 1000 yds with. We kind of got frowned on for having camo'd guns instead of 3000 dollar extra heavy bull barreled rainbow stocked guns. but didn't hurt my feelings I could do about as good with my sporter barreled rugger m77 mk II in 22-250. The people are nice but the majority frown on anything black or tactical just like the liberal media. The range is one of the best in the south just working around everyone's schedules sucks (in order to shoot you must first call and reserve a date because all the ranges are stacked on top of one another). If you join you will surely have fun I just couldn't see renewing I can shoot 100 yards at my house anyday and have access to some farmland where I can shoot 500 yards. welcome aboard
  25. Im on there check out my backyard lol
