  1. just read your post got that. I have been reading on the tsa website and have learned alot
  2. My friend is getting married on April 3rd in Orlando, Fl. My girlfriend and I will be riding down there with my parents on April 1st. My parents are going to stay the whole week but my girlfriend and I need to come back earlier probably like tuesday afternoon cause we both have school and work to get back to. So my question is do you guys have any tips or suggestions about flying, and getting tickets, I have never flown before. I need to get from orlando to mcghee tyson. We will have luggage I want to take my laptop on board if that is possible but if not then maybe just the portable dvd player. I can think of the obvious no knives etc but any links would be very helpful.
  3. x2 on the stink, I usually reserve the kano for the deep cleaning lol otherwise I uses hoppes or remoil
  4. When my stepdad had the gunshop at our house we used to keep up and let the customer know exactly what number they were for the year and remind them that tn gets 10 dollars a check.
  5. plus about the truck bed liner, im sure if your safe was in a fire it would melt and get all over your guns. I would stick to felt or some kind of carpet that wouldn't melt (no poly-"anything") as far as moisture use the desiccant bags/packs.
  6. Congrats man! hopefully many happy years will come to you both
  7. So back the the clutch I seriously doubt the clutch is worn out yet my toyota tacoma with a 4cyl and 32" tires has 189k miles on the factory clutch doesn't slip, can't make it slip. Unless some amateur straight shift driver had your car before you and rode the clutch all the time then I don't think the clutch is your problem. If you car has an external slave cylinder that pushes on a clutch fork then that fork needs grease where the slave cylinder pushes on it. It probably won't fix your problem but it is another variable that you can get rid of easily.
  8. Not as much action but have you seen Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen. I guess his character appeals more to me because I am an engineering student His character used to work for CIA not as a spy but designing gadgets to kill people remote control. Definitely one of the best movies of 2009
  9. Dude I am not slamming you but think about this Bad brake master cylinder will let fluid bypass and let the pedal be spongy. bad vacuum booster equals hard pedal. Do you just do tech support or do you actually work on vehicles?
  10. Actually air compresses very readily that's what gives you a spongy feel, lol or "no pedal" in brakes. You could try flushing the system it could help definitely won't hurt. Brake fluid draws moisture and if it draws too much moisture it lowers the boiling point which is very important in the brake system don't think the clutch system would get that hot. It shouldn't be hard to replace either one but I would probably start with slave cylinder they actually do the work.
  11. My dad gave me a mossberg .410 pump when I was 5 he cut the stock off and putt the recoil pad back on it so it hangs over the bottom still have it shoot it from time to time brings back great memories, I miss him. Someday when I get married and have a son I well pass it on to him.
  12. On my dads side German thus my last name Heidle. On my moms side my great x11 grand dad came over from england in the early 1600's his name Longmire.
  13. I have been a member of several forums and this is by far the best. I think what makes it work as well as it does is that we are all in a designated locale (no yankee smarta****) and we all have a very strong love for our cause, the second amendment. Thanks to all you guys MY TGO FAMILY
  14. I work in retail and luckily I have never been held up. but one night a guy ran out the door with what we later found out to be around 600 dollars worth of merchandise. My manager that night walked out behind the perp and got the tag # and called the local pd and they caught the guy less than a mile away with the merchandise. My manager got "wrote up" for doing this so from now on I will not be helping to stop any thieves.
  15. Another bleeding heart makes me wanna puke.
  16. Congrats! I thank God that I haven't had to find a job in this economy but I sure know that having my hours cut hurt but is definitely better than no hours.
  17. This is one of the best forums I have ever been on. Keep up the good work TGOdavid.
  18. I looked on the gunshop map and figured it out. I might take you up on the offer sometime I have a friend that lives in cookville and I might just stay the night with him sometime and we could come the rest of the way. He loves shooting my ar-15 when its cold like it is now we take 5 gallon buckets and use them as molds and take out the ice chunks and shoot them for fun.
  19. In high school there were some that hung around frozen head area and we used to see them at the vocational school and some people even fed them. On several occasions I have seen them from highway 62 right in front of the vocational school around the state pond.
  20. well in that case your just screwed lol I haven't had too many problems out of my laptop with vista 64 but it has locked up a couple times when it really didn't have much reason to
  21. I haven't worked out a recipe yet but when I goto the store I buy yellow onions, fresh garlic, spicy mustard, paprika, green peppers, crushed red peppers, lean ground beef(only from a local grocery that I really trust) and rotel tomatoes. For beans I like kidney beans and pintos(can't stand pintos alone but make a good thicker chili). throw the beef, garlic, rotel tomatoes and onions in a pan and brown with the crushed red peppers. Then throw it all in a crock pot or stew pot on the stove with beans I keep some of the grease from the meat not much though and add some mustard to the beans and meat and veggies then add the paprika. As far as how long to cook it , cook it as long as you can stand it but i would say at least 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Im not too big on hot chili I like a little spice but not too much. Like was said earlier just start throwing it in unless you are an absolute failure it should be pretty good.
  22. That's why I run firefox it can be as slim as you want it or you can bloat it to the max with add-ons. I have a hp dv7 with a 2.2 ghz AMD Turion and 4gb of ram, and 64 bit vista works ok most of the time luckily my cousin is an a+ comp tech.
  23. A tribal ritual, these guys are soooo in touch with their roots. Seriously whats the deal with all these young african men that have nothing better to do. I goto to school and work a part time job and still don't make ends meet, When I get leftover financial aid money it goes to paying back my debts, thank god for my mom who helps me out in so many ways. Lol back to the video the guys in the background look like a little kid that is about pee their pants maybe that's why all these rappers grab their crotches. but that's just a dumb country boys opinion.
