I finally got some pictures for everyone

I have been looking for a holster online and in local gun stores for my sp2022 and I have found that nobody makes one specifically for it but I got lucky and found that a fobus sp11 paddle holster fits it pretty well. Its listed for Springfield xd fullsize. I'm planning on getting a crossbreed iwb after I get my carry permit, but for now I'll stick with the fobus

Ya I have plenty of room I could probably get a 200 yd shot safely with a little tree trimming but my friend, my wife and I just set up a couple boards with shoot and see targets and we shot from 10 and 20 yards.

Well I started school at UT, got a job in Knoxville, and got married last October. Lol I have been like a little kid all day, my wife and I were both off from work today and we went to get my pistol and then had to go get groceries. Once I got home it was on then I put up a couple targets and let it rip

I bought my first pistol today a Sig sp2022 put 85 rounds through it this afternoon. My wife even shot 2 magazines through it. The first time she has ever shot a handgun. I'm planning on getting my carry permit soon.

So you get the certificate needed to go get you carry permit? If so I'm definitely going this summer to get mine. I'm going this week to purchase my first handgun and I want to get my carry permit as soon as possible. -

Google is the last place I'm going for legal advice especially regarding firearms -
Turkey for Thanksgiving and ham for Christmas has always been the tradition in my family. Before last year it was the same overcooked, dry, baked turkey, but my wife found a new recipe and took over the turkey from her mom and man it is great. It was the best turkey I have ever had including deep fried ones. You have a special mixture you baste it with that is made from white wine and butter and some seasoning and you have to cover it with cheese cloth she got the recipe from like Martha Stewart I think anyways here's a pic Happy turkey day

My grandmother always used to put double bubble gum in their tunnels she said it killed them.

I feel out of place a little but I'll post a picture of my junk. 01 Tacoma 4x4 4cyl 5spd 225k miles 2.5" lift via Bilstein 5100 struts and shocks and top guns customz shackles Nitto Terra Grapplers. Nothing special but it's my daily driver, I take it to windrock every chance I get. Any other 4x4's out there?
-
Sign me up I wrench on anything I can get my hands on. I am mainly into 4x4 also but I like anything that is not stock, I have lifted some and lowered others, rebuild 4cyl and v8s so I'm all over. I would like to get a turbo for my truck and play around with that just an eventual goal of mine.

Lol YOU WIN! It was like 7:15am this morning so maybe waiting on bus with his kids even though they are like 13/14. Anyways I just think its a little odd that he would "patrol" this little road when I can think of 100's of better places. I think rant was a little harsh in my title maybe just what the H***? gotta stir some

I know him fairly well I have attended church with him a couple of times I don't think I'll have anything to worry about. We have some neighbors that fly on that little road hopefully he will get them. I know totally different tone now I'm over it I was asleep this morning.

Tragic accidental death with a pellet rifle.
tennessee01tacoma replied to Will Carry's topic in General Chat
It is sad, back in grade school a boy a couple of years older than me died to a muzzleloader shot to the head, he and a friend had his dad's guns out and it fired. I was always taught good gun handling techniques and I'm very thankful for that. -
His car is a take home, he usually parks right next to his house his driveway is about 75 yards long, he was parked at the end, I will give benefit of the doubt and guess he was waiting on the school bus it has been raining a little here.
-
I can't believe it! The trooper that moved down the road from my girlfriend was actually parked in his driveway this morning in his patrol car. It wouldn't be so odd but this a dead end county road that doesn't have a posted speed limit or even yellow lines. There is only 6 houses past his, I feel like it is a waste of taxpayer resources. Rant off

About the tipping thing. At a sit-down restaurant I usually plan on tipping 15-20% more or less depending on the service mainly things like refills and bread/biscuits. I work at Autozone part time and they tell us not to take tips. My rule of thumb is to refuse once and if they insist then I thank them and tell them to come back and see me for anything they need. We are paid hourly and start at minimum wage with yearly raises. I don't get upset when I don't get tipped, but one thing to keep in mind is we are doing a job that you would normally pay a mechanic upwards of $90 dollars an hour to do we are not trained and if you find one of us with some actual mechanical experience we are the minority. So thanks to the guy that tipped his Autozoner I hope he appreciated it and yes sometimes it is absolutely nice to get out from behind the counter.

that was my point they are not supposed to be deep but I will look into your suggestion.

jurisdiction question, City police on the interstate.

For those who don't know oliver springs is a small town of 3000 that is in 3 counties Morgan, Anderson and Roane. Highways 61 and 62 meet and run together for about 4 miles through Oliver Springs and is a major gateway for people who work in Knoxville and Oak Ridge. They have gained a reputation IN THE PAST of writing tickets mainly to people with Morgan co tags. I want to stress in the past, I haven't heard of it as much recently. But their latest scam is a construction zone that has been vacant for almost 3 months now and the speed limit drops from 45 to 30. Which when workers are present is great but like I said nothing has been moved there for quite some time now. -
I love Jason Statham movies they are what action movies are meant to be entertainment through beating/killing the bad guys, blowing stuff up, driving fast and o ya the girl. Ya they will never be oscar winners but I think his movies are great. If you are into more "deep" action movies the expendables is freakin great not original by any means but its a good story

It has been a 2 years since my American Bulldog Sarge was born and I have been there since day one. My girlfriends dad had a female named Dixie. It was in July and she would not get out of her dog house I went to check on her about 11 o clock and in her box was a single puppy but no Dixie. We finally found her and brought her inside and she had 6 more. Now I have Sarge the "runt"
