1.
I bet the people that decided to fire him would have been in a corner crying in a puddle of their on piss. I hate that criminals are realizing that companies are forcing their employees to not fight back.
Your exactly right. Corporate is a bunch of lily-livers that will let Muslims off for their religious beliefs but I have worked Easter Sunday for the past 3 years. I'm honestly ashamed.
2.
Good grief.
The real kicker is that my coworker was also a reserve officer on the police department.
3. I work for the Nazizone. It's definitely true they have a sort of "zero tolerance" policy. No weapons on premisis including knives. I keep my pistol in my truck if I ever have to use it at work then my job is the least of my concerns. A former coworker was written up for calling in a tag number to the police department. He didn't interfere or interact with the thief at all
4. Well dang I was about to make a trip to get some suppressor making supplies.
5. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen this. When I took my hunters safety course we took the written test at Wartburg elementary school and shot clay pigeons behind the high school.
6.
Yeah but a 1911 when shot in the ground causes a gravational shift in the earth rendering the bad guy defenseless.
Yes! I don't know why I don't sell all my guns and buy 1911s I could take down a moose from 600 yards using the same method cause they have so much knockdown power.
7. I think most people take it all too seriously. I can see pros and cons in all types of handguns. But what I like and what works for me may be your least favorite choice. I definitely believe there are the big three cults 1911, Glock, and Sigs, I'm not sure the xd crowd is to that point yet. The perfect pistol can never exist. The perfect pistol would have the knockdown power of a 30 caliber rifle with no recoil and a magazine capacity of at least 15 but still have a comfortable grip and be small enough to conceal. Last week my brother came in for thanksgiving. He is wanting to purchase his first pistol so I took him to coal creek and we got some range time and he rented pistols out of the case. It was an education for both of us. I shot a couple guns I have never shot before and some I haven't shot in years. Before we shot my brother said he wanted either a 1911 or a Beretta 92. After shooting and talking about it with him he definitely ruled out the Beretta as a carry gun because of its size. He still likes the 1911 as a shooter but he is not sure about carrying one because of the 7 round capacity. As for me out of all the guns we shot, I shot the best with the Beretta and my pistol a sp2022. To be on topic until further notice I'm a Sig cult follower. I was drooling over a Sig p226 at coal creek the other day.
8. I hope I never have to use my pistol in self defense but if I could choose however I hope I can use it to stop something like the Colorado movie theatre shootings or something like the article above. Realistically I know that events like those above are rare but I also know they are becoming more commonplace.
9. "Kimber uses my llama as a model to build their tactical assault sniper special forces green beret recon delta pistol for the military." I LOLed at this!
10. Im not sure what the "link" was but just from context sounds like it didn't belong here. Dolomite keep up the good work this is my favorite forum.
11. I've never used night sights but my stepdad said after the first shot they are useless because of the muzzleflash. He was a LE officer and a mp in the airforce. Like I said I've never tried.

13.
I can see why some people do not like the DA/SA action, but I am pretty sure if I am in a self defense situation I would not be bothered by trigger pull differences, especially the likely hood of 3 rounds 3 seconds from 3 feet.
+1 In a sd shooting they're not gonna score you on how tight your grouping is. I practice my draw and I don't have to worry about a safety. As I'm practicing my draw I make sure my grip is consistent and my trigger finger goes right where it needs to be and even though the reset is different after that first shot I have got used to making that next shot quickly.
14. My Sig is a da/sa pistol I feel plenty safe chambered and decocked I practice drawing and taking the first shot with the da trigger pull. I'm just as accurate out to 15 yards either way just working on speed but I known more than likely if I have to draw and.shoot in a hurry there will be no aiming just point and squeeze.
15. For the money its perfect. I'm not military or police so it's not something I use everyday, but it stays on my nightstand and when I get home I put it on my pistol and I'm ready for things that go bump in the night
16. I'm so thankful I live where I do. I was in and out this morning in about 5 minutes. I agree there is something special about going on the "big day."
17. Election day is just as important to me as independence day. I know a lot of people my age(24) don't put a lot of emphasis on it. But today is a day that separates us from so many other countries. It's not a perfect system but on my opinion it's about as close to perfect as it gets.
18.
I guess that raises a question is for those 2 you spoke of. Do you think someone used their information to vote on their behalf early or do you think it was someone trying to squeeze through and vote a second time?
I would be more inclined to believe this. Unless you know someone who runs the polls you have to present valid photo Id and they check your name off the list at the precinct you vote in. I'm not saying it's impossible to happen the other way there's just to many ifs involved.
19. Im honesty appreciative that you posted the link you did. It is a good education for everyone, myself included.
20. That's a great idea when shelters are already overrun and struggling for funds. Most dogs would just be euthanised. End of the road either way. But that's what they get paid to do so that makes it ok? It's probably ridiculous what it costs to euthanise an animal and then what happens to it. The disposal cost is probably astounding.
21. And also 2 words that should be reitterated "Leash Law." be a responsible dog owner and there won't be any strays so this whole arguement wouldn't exsist. Why should I as a responsible dog owner have to bear the burden of properly dealing with someone else's abandoned pet?
22. How about the spca go after the real criminals that abandon and neglect their dogs. I have two happy healthy spoiled dogs at home. I am not a dog hater. But if I can't feed my dogs outside because the stray won't leave then they are deffinitely a nuisance.
23. I agree with all the laws in the link and haven't broken any of them. No where on your link does it refer to animals that are obviously abandoned or strays. In my opinion strays fall into the category of feral or nuisance animals. Coyotes, a cousin to a dog is considered a nuisance animal, and there is a year round open season on them. What's the difference in a coyote or stray dogs, they will both form packs, breed, and kill livestock, pets and wild game species like deer. In my opinion there is no difference.
24. I'm no lawyer but I don't know of anywhere on the tca where it says you can't kill a dog with the exception being cruelty to animals. Which is more cruel being left for starvation or put down. I refer back to the stray that showed up at my house the other day. He got sick and vomited in the bed of my truck, you know what came up? Gravel and some grass no lie. How pitiful of a life.
25. I have drawn on a couple dogs, I have nothing to hide, never had to shoot thank God. I'm not easy to scare, I'm talking about sincerely threatened like im in fear for my life sincere. My American bulldog will bark at you and stare you down but he wouldn't hurt anyone. I wouldn't have a dog that would hurt anyone
