  1. Personally, I think anyone who kills a child of any color should have an expedited trip out back to be summarily executed in the most painful way,
  2. Well, do tell what is misinformation, doctor.
  3. I'm not all that rural, (northeastern Rutherford County), and I still have absolutely ZERO broadband options. I use a cellular Internet service and pay out the nose for it.
  4. They didn't cover a major Israel - UAE story.
  5. I could never find Cherry Bombs or M-80's as I was growing up. I use to spend hours cutting open countless Black Cats with an X-acto knife in order to fill empty Tester paint bottles, used smoke bombs, and even the bottom a plastic Easter Egg with powder. In retrospect, I am damned glad that I was smart enough to bury the Tester bottles deep enough that I was never hit by the glass shrapnel. I stuffed the upper half of the egg with fuses to fill the void. After putting in a waterproof fuse, I then wrapped it up with several layers of Duct Tape, and took it down to the private lake where the community had a large 4th celebration going on. After I lit it and threw it into the cove it made a huge explosion amplified by the hillside on the other side of the cove. It scared the crap out of everyone at the gathering! Even though they couldn't pin anything on me, I had a reputation with the police after that!
  6. Hear! Hear! Except the part in red. I think that you meant to write that the NRA will not go gently into that good night.
  7. Thanks, Captain Obvious, but me commenting is not me telling Chuckshoes what to do. It's called giving an opinion - which is something you give freely.
  8. 4,000 IU is considered the maximum daily dose because Vitamin D, (which isn't really a true vitamin because the body makes it), is fat soluble, and can store-up over time to harmful levels in the body. I take 2,000 daily because it might help the immune system against COVID, and it's a safe level.
  9. For full disclosure, I am a non-practicing Doctor of Chiropractic. I had a nephrologist give me prescription D3 when I went to him for alleged stage 3 kidney failure. After taking it for over 3 months with no change in my kidney function, I finally asked him what the D3 was for. He responded that it was the "Feel good" vitamin, and that his patients loved it. It didn't make me feel good nor help my kidneys. So no offense but I'll trust the Mayo Clinic & the National Institute of Health. NIH: https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminD-Consumer/ Mayo Clinic: https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements-vitamin-d/art-20363792 Many older adults don't get regular exposure to sunlight and have trouble absorbing vitamin D, so taking a multivitamin with vitamin D will likely help improve bone health. The recommended daily amount of vitamin D is 400 international units (IU) for children up to age 12 months, 600 IU for ages 1 to 70 years, and 800 IU for people over 70 years. Evidence Research on vitamin D use for specific conditions shows: Cancer. Research suggests that vitamin D, especially when taken with calcium, might help prevent certain cancers. Cognitive health. Early research suggests that vitamin D might play a role in cognitive health. In one small study of adults age 60 years and older being treated for dementia, researchers found that taking a vitamin D supplement helped improve cognitive function. Inherited disorders. Vitamin D supplements can be used to help treat inherited disorders resulting from an inability to absorb or process vitamin D, such as familial hypophosphatemia. Multiple sclerosis. Research suggests that long-term vitamin D supplementation reduces the risk of multiple sclerosis. Osteomalacia. Vitamin D supplements are used to treat adults with severe vitamin D deficiency, resulting in loss of bone mineral content, bone pain, muscle weakness and soft bones (osteomalacia). Osteoporosis. Studies suggest that people who get enough vitamin D and calcium in their diets can slow bone mineral loss, help prevent osteoporosis and reduce bone fractures. Psoriasis. Applying vitamin D or a topical preparation that contains a vitamin D compound called calcipotriene to the skin can treat plaque-type psoriasis in some people. Rickets. This rare condition develops in children with vitamin D deficiency. Supplementing with vitamin D can prevent and treat the problem.
  10. I wouldn't use any process that introduces water into the wood. It might warp badly where the wood is the thinnest.
  11. I'm not THAT old...yet!
  12. You know what they say, "No guts; no glory!"
  13. According to Wikipedia, GOA has over 2,000,000 members as of 2020, and SAF has over 650,000 members as of 2015.
  14. You only need vitamin D supplements if you are inside a lot. When you are outside with skin exposed your cholesterol in your skin is converted into vitamin D by the UV light from the sun's rays. I am inside a lot working a desk job; therefore, I supplement my D every day. People over 50 should be supplementing their vitamin B12 anyway, but you don't need to pay for shots to do that. Over the counter B12 works just the same. I also supplement with Zinc every day because it is known for fighting the effects of viruses.
  15. Loved that movie!
  16. So don't have beans the night before the hunt?
  17. Getting your phone number is relatively easy if you want to pay for it.
  18. Hoping the best for her.
  19. I use to take used smoke balls, scrape out the center, and fill them with firecracker powder with a waterproof fuse to make my own cherry-bombs. Then I'd use them in my backyard battlefield to destroy the Germans.
  20. I use to build airplanes, tanks, and ships, (mostly ships), and then lay them out in the back yard to shoot them with a BB gun to pretend a battle was taking place.
  21. I hate that. They should try being honest. If it's a good deal, I don't mind the wait if I know up front.
  22. @maroonandwhite I've ordered something from OP that said it was in stock, and then when I got the order confirmation it said that it was out of stock by a long time. I'm not a fan of theirs.
  23. Yes, but he's in Hendersonville. That's a pretty good distance from Stewart County.
