I was responding to Garufa's comment about finding a doctor that will do it. To your point, pain is not only subjective, it is a given for a terminal cancer patient. Cancer metastasizes to the bone and brain. You may not have pain now, but you will.

I've read the Bible numerous times, and nowhere does it say that. Can't talk about Muslims, Mormons, etc. It does say that it is "appointed once unto man to die" so you can't die before your time, and no matter what, you can't surprise God.

Hospice does it all the time. When my dad had terminal cancer they put him on liquid morphine and tacitly told him how to end his life when he wanted to. My sister questioned them about it, and they told her they do it all the time because it's a common request.

Yes, in medical science it's call a "vector." Most diseases are transmitted by contaminating a surface with the virus, someone else touching that surface, and then they either rub their eyes or pick their nose which causes the virus to penetrate the mucosa to enter the body. I place more of an emphasis on sanitizing my hands as I leave a public building or entering my car over a mask. I DO wear a mask out of respect for the businesses that require it. Early reports of virus spread directly through the air were questionable because they did NOT know the incubation period of the virus. In other words, you may think that you are quarantined on a ship, but that doesn't mean that you didn't already have it, and it's just been cooking away in your DNA until ready to break-out. To put it bluntly, this virus caught the medical profession off guard, and they were scrambling to crap answers for the public. Unfortunately, it became politicized in the process to induce panic. I speculate that after pervert Joe takes office it'll suddenly not be such a big deal, and he'll push the vaccine as if were his accomplishment.

Me neither.

My wife does the same thing. She works on a computer all day long, but if a problem comes up that isn't related to Excel or the business apps that she uses, she can't do anything and yells for me. Just yesterday she was having problems getting on the Wi-Fi and I told her to turn it off then back on. She looked at me like I had told her to rebuild the engine in the car.

Huh?

They still leak - hence your glasses fogging up when you are wearing one. That's like a smokestack on a train as you walk down the aisle of a store.
-
Patently wrong. It's more like, if the other guy farts you still smell it because pants - like masks - leak.

What kind of guidance are you looking for? iPads are what they are. https://www.apple.com/ipad/compare/. If she's happy with only the apps offered in the Apple Store then more power to her. I would, however, point out to you that she wants what she wants. My response would be, "Yes, dear," and go get it because it's not my opinion that counts.

I don't remember her dressed like that in El Dorado.

Back when I was a LEO in Missouri, there was a family of red fox that lived between a strip mall and a small city park where a creek ran though. There were also beaver living in that creek. The damned beaver startled the crap out of me one night while performing a door check on the back of the mall. I must have disturbed the little prick because it slapped its tail on the water real loud making me jump out of my skin!

I was being kind in case there are members who are into that sort of thing.

That's why I never sit up front. On another note, the theatrics they used are a bit much.

"Breaking News" Alex Trebek has died at the age of 80"
E4 No More replied to The Legion's topic in General Chat
It think that it really depends on when it was diagnosed. If you're diagnosed early and it continues to march on, it would appear that the person was able to fight longer. My neighbor did last a year longer than her doctors told her she would live. Towards the end she was on fentanyl patches. Out of mercy my adult daughter secured her some pot to ease her suffering for which her husband was deeply grateful for after she died. She was the second neighbor that I've seen that pot eased her path towards death caused by cancer. It made me re-think my stance on pot to be frank. -

Yep, pancreatic cancer is a tough one. I think about it every time I see a movie with Patrick Swayze in it. -
I guess that they don't have to worry about burying those blades in the desert.

Anther interesting thing that I heard on FOX this morning came from Alveda King (MLK's niece) in Georgia. She said that she witnessed a poll-worker telling people that they didn't have to sign their voter card. Of course, not signing the paper invalidates your vote. She didn't say whether it was being said to all voters, or just one party.

I'm not too concerned about physical safety as I live way outside of the city and we all work from home. I have a generator and lots of fuel in the event of power disruption and short-term disruption of fuel supply, but I'm more worried about storms causing power outages. I also feel that with Tennessee being a red state there's not much of a threat here anyway. I do fear for the businesses in the areas likely to have unrest unless they support the Democrats. They get what they voted for if they supported Democrats.

It did to me too.

Welcome, David.

And crap them all over your car!
