  1. I'll go the opposite direction: Don't buy a Husqvarna. I bought one of their semi-commercial grade zero turns and have had a LOT of problems with it including a new engine replaced under warranty because the bottom seal blew-out.
  2. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/florida-man-took-his-son-on-paintball-drive-by-police-said-the-boy-10-ended-up-shot-with-a-real-gun/ar-AAKCsGF?li=BBnb7Kz The stupidity in this story is just astounding. Some people just shouldn't have kids.

  4. Whether from a shot or from infection, one major benefit is that your body is less likely to have a severe reaction to a mutation. Sure, successful mutations are, by definition, more effective, but those mutations are NOT huge leaps in effectiveness; therefore, your body's reaction would not be as severe. Kind of like how the annual flu shot didn't cover H1N1, but it lessened the effect when I got it.
  5. I don't answer to try and convince the obstinate. I answer for the undecided.
  6. Because the virus mutates into different strains just as do cold and flu viruses. That's why there are different flu shots every year. Booster is probably a bad term to be used here. Why do you get sick? The vaccine is not 100% effective as most things in life.
  7. Have you had the cold or flu more than once?
  8. I'd hit it! Her; not the rifle.
  9. Because some have an affinity for goats.
  10. I've sprayed my yard twice trying to get rid of all of the weeds. I still have Buttercups in the yard.
  11. Source? Because I can find nothing saying that that was in schools.
  12. The key word from the above is "urging"; not "requiring" like some colleges are doing. If I had youngsters it would depend on their overall health. If our kid had asthma or some other condition that would put him/her at risk then hell ya I would get them vaccinated. My wife and I didn't get vaccines for other people's sake; we got it for ours, and that would have been extended to our children when they were young.
  13. Not in American schools. According to this it was the late 1940's: https://www.chop.edu/centers-programs/vaccine-education-center/vaccine-history/developments-by-year
  14. Schools have required vaccinations for decades...right or wrong.
  15. I can't even imagine how that felt.
  16. Yeah, we have good friends and my MIL that got shingles. They preached to us about the vaccine.
  17. Yeah, my wife got the one and done vaccination and had no problems. I normally have nothing more than a sore arm after vaccinations, but not this time.
  18. I had my second round of vaccine yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing my butt off. I had to pull the bedspread up over my blanket just to feel warmer. Then the rest of the night I went back and forth between hot and cold, and I couldn't sleep. Today I'm in a fog because of no sleep and just feel like crap. It is hands down the worst reaction that I've ever had to ANY vaccine. But here's the rub: It was the second round of the shingles vaccine that the VA gives four months apart from the first round.
  19. That's exactly what I bought.
  20. This ain't the middle east, ya know?
  21. I'd take the $30k. That would more than offset the hour drive to work and eating out.
  22. Auto, because I prefer to have 15 rounds of .357 Sig to get me out of trouble.
