The people that you are referring to are called criminals. You have to give informed consent, and without that it's called assault.

I didn't care to find out.

My disabled daughter that is in the hospital with COVID is getting better. They have taken her off of the oxygen mask and put her on the regular oxygen cannula. They have a "step plan" for getting her out of the hospital. My grandsons appear to be getting better although their damned doctor just prescribed medicine for them today. On another note, my wife, who had the J&J vaccine, is officially COVID positive. There's no way to tell if she's one of the 28% that the vaccine didn't work for or just part of the 7% of break-out cases. She has told me that she's scared since she has several co-morbidities. We are now hoping that the claim from J&J that the shot will at least make her symptoms only minor to moderate is accurate. Her doctor has her going in for some therapy on TUESDAY. So out of my household of 8, 5 have, or had, COVID. The un-vaccinated 13-year old granddaughter has shown no signs of it although she mostly stays upstairs or wears a mask while downstairs. My other daughter, who has terrible lungs and is also vaccinated with the J&J vaccine, doesn't have it either, but she's wearing a mask religiously. Then there's me that got the Moderna shots when the VA offered them to me and is now hoping that I'm not one of the 5% that the vaccine doesn't work on.

St. Thomas in Murfreesboro is refusing it for my disabled daughter claiming that it is not on their approved protocol.

I had one latch on to the back of my sack. It was far enough back that my wife had to pull it out. She was really grossed out about it - the tick; not my balls.

A Bit of Good News, Chipman Nomination Withdrawn

So sad to see this. NOT!!! -
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the higher ups are interested in doing a double-blind study.

And did it work?

You got the vaccine, right? Did you get to read any warning label? A technical point I know, but cases are won on technicalities - all things being even. To me it doesn't really matter about the vaccine manufacturer. If your job requires that you get the vaccine then they assume any liability unless you waive their liability.

It seems to me that asswagons would be pretty useful for some Americans.

Unsurprisingly, my daughter tested positive for COVID at the hospital. She's still in the ER waiting for a room. They put her on oxygen but told her they do not have enough of the machines, (I'm assuming respirators), that she needs, so she's waiting for someone that is on that machine to be moved to life support so she can use it. This is pretty alarming in and of itself, but really not that surprising considering what my wife and I saw in the ICU at St. Thomas of Murfreesboro when I was in there a couple of weeks ago. Both of my grandsons, (the sons of my disabled daughter), have COVID now as well. They are secluded in their room so hopefully they won't give it to my other granddaughter.

Edit: She's now got it coming out both ends so we're taking her to the hospital.

Unfortunately, my daughter is at the mercy of Tenncare who do the minimum. She seems to be hanging on for now and not needing to go to the hospital.

I heard on the radio today that there have been 39 deaths from break-out COVID in the state. At first I was shocked until I thought about it a bit. 1. The people who died could have been part of the 5% of people on whom the Pfizer/Moderna's vaccines are not effective. 2. The people who died could have been part of the 28% of people on whom the J&J vaccine is not effective. 3. The infections were truly breakthrough infections, and for some unknown reason the vaccines did not give lessened COVID severity as advertised. This makes me wonder what that percentage is. One of my fears has come a reality. My granddaughter brought COVID into the house, and now my disabled daughter who was advised by her doctor not to get the vaccine because he didn't know how it would affect her neurological disorder now has COVID. Fortunately, for now she's OK.

No kidding. Can't even go through a drive through without some kid showing lack of appreciation for having a job, nor an ability to say thank you or you're welcome.

He's out of the hospital. Thanks for asking.

There's free parking in the rear! ROTFLOL!

Thanks. I was planning on adding some OTC medicine, Bandaids, and such to the kit as well. The wound wash is a good call that I obviously forgot about. I am actually a chiropractor that hasn't practiced the trade in 21 years, but I still retain quite a bit of knowledge and thus I am bound by Good Samaritan laws to help at an accident scene where I can. My wife, on the other hand, knows little about it, but I am encouraging her to to view videos as to how to use the items in the bag and also gain knowledge on CPR although I doubt she's physically capable of performing it on someone including me. She has no cartilage in her knees and couldn't stand the pain to administer CPR to someone on the ground until paramedics arrived. If it were me on the ground I would hope that adrenaline would help her out, but I'm not counting on it. She'd probably be limited to applying a pressure bandage or slapping a seal on a sucking chest wound.

I had the HoLEP procedure a few years ago. I was in the hospital for a couple of days with a cath, but after it was removed I felt like I was piss'n with a fire hose for several weeks until I got used to it again.

Both are administered out of the SS office and are something that an individual pays into unless they are disabled from childhood. I'd hardly call them freeloaders. I actually have a disabled adult daughter who worked and paid into the system until she became disabled who can't get disability because that system is just as hard as the VA system, (deny until they die), so I am a bit offended by your statement.

I am no EMT or Paramedic, but given my recent ambulance ride to the ER for a pulmonary embolism along with my advancing age I have decided to stock small trauma bags to be put in both vehicle in the event that I either need to save my wife, or she needs to save me. I have picked up some first responder knowledge in the Marine Corps, police department, and elsewhere. Realizing that I can go overboard, I am looking for informed recommendations as to what to stock the bags with. Here is what I have so far: 1. CPR Mask for adult & children 2. Adventure Medical Kits Trauma Pak First Aid Kit with Quickclot Sponge which includes: 1- Quickclot Gauze 3" x 24" 1- Trauma Pad 5" x 9" 2- Nitrile Gloves 1- Duct Tape 1- Triangular Bandage 2- Sterile Gauze Dressing 4" x 4" 2- Sterile Gauze Dressing 2" x 2" 1- Conforming Gauze Bandage 3" 6- Antiseptic Wipes 1- Trauma Response Instructions 3. Recon Medical Trauma Kit which includes 1 each of: Gen 4 Tourniquet 7.5" Titanium Bonded Trauma Shears 4" Pressure Trauma Bandage Compressed Gauze Chest Seal Rescue Blanket 4. Cohesive Tape 5. Bleed Stop (since I am now on blood thinners) 6. 36" Splint 7. Nitrile Gloves for my huge hands Is there anything that I am reasonably missing?

Have you not heard the saying, "Individuals are smart; people are stupid"? And old Nancy is already working on a way to make it worse since the SC said dementia Joe's order is invalid.
