  1. The advantage with the Cavalier King Charles is that we can breed a female with our male Shih Tsu to have Cava Tsu puppies. I haven't seen any of those for sale around here.
  2. I'd love to teach him a lesson in manners.
  3. Thanks all. I think my wife has talked me into a gay-assed little dog called the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. I'll feel like the abominable snowman from Warner Brothers carrying it around:
  4. His reasoning seems sound but I think all Baldwin will get is a slap on his pee-pee.
  5. I've had the worst luck with mutts. Not a one of them were good companions. I have mostly had Rottweilers but they are solid blocks of bone and meat, and when they bump into my short wife with bad knees it almost drops her to the ground. Hell, I'm 6'4" and >300 lbs, and the Rotty that I used to have would come close to accidentally putting me down. Then there's the fact that home owner's insurance doesn't cover Rottweilers along with most large breeds. The Malinois is not on that list. We have 5 other little dogs in the house. Two are too slow or lazy to play. We have a Shih tsu that's about as dumb as can be running around the house. He's our stud that mates with our Zuchon to have Teddy Bear puppies. Fortunately, our Zuchon is VERY intelligent and offsets the father's dopey genes. The Zuchon and our female Rat Terrier LOVE to play ball, so I think they'd want to play with the Malinois. I work from home so the dog will be supervised well all of the time.
  6. I am looking into a new pet for me and I'm interested in the Belgian Malinois breed. I am looking for owners who can give the the good or bad about owning the breed. This will be a pet although intimidating unwanted visitors is a plus. I want a dog that isn't ridiculously priced and who can be a companion with me. This necessitates the dog being able to jump up and down out of my 4 x 4 pickup on its own power as a bad back doesn't want me lifting a dog in and out of the truck.
  7. Being a former Marine I was very excited to see Full Metal Jacket, (I got discharged the year before the movie was released). I took my wife to go see the movie and embarrassed her because I was laughing out loud during the boot camp scenes, and I was the only one laughing in the theater. I was laughing because it was so realistic to what real Marine Corps boot camp actually is and how the audience was reacting to it. It was mostly due to GSgt Ermey's lines. I had heard that he was hired to be a technical advisor on the movie, but the actor hired for the Drill Instructor part just couldn't get the part right so they hired Ermey to play it instead. Dale Dye is another former Marine turned technical advisor then to actor.
  8. I think you meant to show an A1 version. The A2 version didn't come to the Marine Corps until 1983 and to the Army in 1986. I was glad that I wasn't issued an M16 with the grenade launcher because it was one less item that I had to clean.
  9. No, it won't.
  10. Add a little surfactant like Dawn and the herbicide will stick better to the plants making it more effective.
  11. In another report, Baldwin is blame-shifting by asking who would hand an actor a hot handgun.
  12. It might have been a frontal shot (camera). That would explain it.
  13. My worry with using a magnet would be getting into an accident and creating one heck of a heavy projectile to bounce around.
  14. That's just a rumor though.
  15. With a little research, it appears to be a French (Gypsy) Jazz style of guitar. They had non-typical sound holes positioned forward of the center of the body, had the fret board extending over the sound hole, used a broad saddle, had no pick guard, and used metal tailpieces. https://www.premierguitar.com/lessons/acoustic-lessons/django-gypsy-jazz-chords It seems that they are similar to classic guitars.
  16. Acoustic.
  17. Welcome to you too. I'm not retired, but I am a former LEO in Missouri.
  18. The most obvious question is: Do you think that they knew the vaccine would be useless at the time of administration? Do you think there's a possibility that they figured the risk versus reward warranted the vaccine? Did he get the less effective vaccine which would have been weakened further by his condition? There are numerous variables to consider which is why a discussion with your doctor is recommended rather than a discussion with some unknown chump/quack on the Internet.
  19. Do explain how the vaccine could not have been rendered useless by the cancer, Dr. Greg.
  20. I feel the same way.
  21. That truly sucks.
  22. Actually, it was reported that he died from complications of COVID. I don't know how they came up with this so quickly but they said that his cancer basically rendered the vaccine useless. It's not like he was a healthy, vaccinated human being dying of COVID.
  23. Nice cleavage!
  24. We bought $120 worth of chickens on Saturday. Last night I set the two raccoon/opossum traps baited with raccoon specific bait AND sprayed a "fresh" barrier of wolf piss on the fabric tabs on the fence. Woke up this morning to find one of the new chickens dead via the same MO as the others, and my traps were empty. Now I'm beginning to think that it may be an owl. I've read that owls will bite the head off of chickens, eat what they can because chickens are too heavy for them to carry off, and take the head back to their nest because the chicken's brains supply specific nutrients that the owl requires. Unfortunately, the only way to protect the chickens from predatory birds is to cover the area with a net, (too costly to cover the huge chicken run that they have), or lock them up in the coup at night. What a PITA!
