  1. Part of our property runs up into the Paperville Knobs. I'll have to keep an eye out.
  2. Where about? Have a place off VI Ranch that we are gonna build on.
  3. Thanks for the answers everyone. I was well aware that our licenses allowed us to carry so legal issues weren't really a concern. The "printing" was what concerned me.
  4. I know they honor the licenses we have. My question was would "printing" be an issue in VA.
  5. We also have Utah and Pennsylvania. Most upstate NY licenses are full carry. The Long Island ones have these restrictions on them. So I can't carry but my friend from upstate can carry on LI no problem. I can't wait to leave this hell hole behind forever. Does anyone know about VA? Our property is right on the border and we are often crossing into VA.
  6. The wife and I have been spending more time down in TN now that we have bought some property. Here in NY we aren't allowed to carry, the license is a to and from range restricted license. If you are caught printing or anyone can see your firearm inside your jacket you will lose your license. What is the situation down there if for example someone can figure out I'm carrying at the 4 o'clock in an inside waistband and my T shirt shows the outline of the grip?
  7. How about one for your car?
  8. Am I to understand that men in Tennessee have a pedicure on a regular schedule? If so I'm going to bring the average down. 1285 days till I am lucky enough to call myself a resident of TN. In 51 years nobody, but nobody, other then my mother has ever cut my nails other than me.
  9. Really? That's the gayest thing you've ever seen? Allow me to introduce to you open back chaps.
  10. This is the same company who decided to make ARs that were stand alone. Couldn't use the same pins, couldn't use the same hammer and trigger, couldn't use a MilSpec BCG. Just for now I'll ignore that whole stupid front take down debacle. Not going to miss them.
  11. Good luck. Meet you at South Holston lake one day.
  12. The wife and I signed papers for 18+ acres near Bristol. In 1314 days you guys are gonna have a new neighbor. Now I just have to get through the days till I retire. I can't wait to leave this hell hole.
  13. I'm from NY, this place sucks. In 4 years I'll be down by you guys.
  14. Trust me. Our congressman is Pete King. I want to stick a pencil in my neck.
  15. Why wouldn't I like it? Too much like Memphis? Quick Google says Brad Pitt. If he is the only reason I can deal with it.
  16. If I were to call her, who shall I say gave me the number?
  17. Looking at some stuff in Holston Valley.
  18. Thanks for the answers guys. More than likely we will have about 20 acres. The smallest lots we are looking at is 5 acres.
  19. Yes. Headed down there in May to look at property. Retireing in a few years and can not wait to flee this state. Don't worry, I will NOT be bringing any liberal views with me. I can't even stand the Republicans up here anymore. They are as bad as the liberals.
  20. I was wondering if someone could help me out with the rules and regulations of having a shooting range on your own property. I've searched the web and came up blank. This wouldn't be in any of the cities. Property is over 5 acres.
  21. You have to know when to pull it.
  22. We are looking to buy some property in Sullivan county, preferably near South Holston Lake.   Does anyone here do that or able to recommend somone?
  23. Teach me my master.
  24. Same up here. In a day my black truck looks green/yellow.
