The Titans kept a lot of their playbook a secret, not running it in the preseason from what it looks like. Not uncommon in the NFL, however. Mariota looked good, but they had the element of surprise,on the Tampa defense no less, so the jury is still out. The biggest issue is now that the "style" of the Titans offense has been revealed, defenses can game plan against it better. They get the Browns next week, and should win that, but then things get tougher with the Colts, Bills, Dolphins, and Falcons for a rare 4-game stretch at home. They're going to be interesting to watch, which is good because NFL broadcast rules make them the only game I have when they play.

From Syria to Turkey, to Greece, to Serbia, they to Hungary, and Austria, finally ending in Germany. http://www.dw.com/en/a-perilous-trek-refugees-journey-from-syria-to-germany/g-18696817 http://www.wsj.com/articles/a-syrian-refugee-familys-grueling-journey-to-germany-1441729286 Last year, the big problem was all the refugees coming from North Africa via the Mediterranean, and the countries that had to deal with that are still cleaning up the mess, which is why this is being passed north. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-24521614

To me, using movers is well worth the cost to me when measured against the time and hassle of doing it myself. I'll skimp on range ammo and dining out if saving money for a move requires it.

It's Friday, which is the day for Mosque services, so the mosque may have had worshipers inside if this happened early enough in the daytime. If not, the majority of those dead and injured may well likely be imported labor from Bangladesh, India, the Philippines, ect...and the accident could be a result of unsafe work procedures they have to endure. Arab's as a general rule, don't do manual labor, and at best supervise the process. I'm guessing there would be more sympathy for the latter than the former. If there were services occurring when this happened, I would investigate this as an act of terrorism or sabotage until those motives were disproved.

I was a 19 year old Private First Class at Fort Campbell in the 101st Airborne Division. I can still remember my platoon sergeant coming through barracks rooms telling people to turn on CNN as I was lacing my boots up while getting ready to go eat breakfast. The rest of the day, was a blur as we reacted to lock down Fort Campbell. Nothing was the same anymore. Four months later, our equipment was all packed up and we were waiting for our flight to Afghanistan as our brigade was one of the first conventional units deployed.

Players and slots lock at game time, so for tonight, all you need to worry about is anyone in the New England vs. Pittsburgh game.

Knoxville Allowing Fair to Prohibit Guns in a Park

Civil disobedience may be required if the cities are going to be reminded what the law actually is. Get 100 or so people with a valid HCP, have them open carry for demonstrative purposes, and dare the public venue to deny them admission, and/or the local police to arrest them for trying to do so. Politely but firmly, stand in line as a group, refuse to move aside until you're allowed admission, and let the situation develop from there. If the city wants to arrest 100 people for exercising their legal rights, they will have to risk more problems and a class action lawsuit to do so. I really don't see an alternative that won't take years in court battles. -
Yeah, a lot of this is on the people who don't know, or don't care about what the government is doing, and that's a shame. Lack of numbers in opposition is the #1 reason the .gov gets away with what they do. The things Snowden blew the whistle on were so bad they made conspiracy theorists look good. I also agree with you that the Microsoft case pending is a big deal. I get that Google is far from in the right on this one, but I like being able to wipe their stock OS away with a chosen alternative that is subject to scrutiny by the developer community, who won't hesitate to call out a product that isn't up to snuff. Apple has no such ability best as I know. If any company is going to take up this fight, it probably needs to be Apple. They have the name, money, and following to put up resistance to the government and hopefully reverse the bad things that have been happening. You have to think that the powers that be in the FBI and DOJ are going to rethink coming heavy handed against a company like Apple. DOJ throws around terms like that for anybody who doesn't bend over without complaint. All part of an overall strategy to discredit someone as a threat to national security. That said, they are legitimately worried about Apple thinking about security and privacy just based on users alone who would have those configurations by default.

I'm glad some of the CEO's like Tim Cook are talking about user privacy, especially in light of how the government is ready to intrude upon it at will. It's an important topic we need to discuss in the public sphere. One thing I love about Android over Apple is the fact that it's open source, and can be modified by users. My preferred version, CyanogenMod, has some great privacy options, and I can get more from all the developers out there. With Apple, as far as I know, I'd have to take what they give me. Then there is the fact that as a company, I don't know how willing they are to challenge a DOJ order, or what will happen if a court rules against them on something. It's just not a situation I'm comfortable enough with.

First game tomorrow night. Between the Patriots and Steelers, plenty of fantasy starters making their season start in it. Having my friend Alex take over the last team, now known as the "Diaz Holes." Alex is actually the guy who got me into fantasy football once upon a time. He won't be on here since he lives in Florida, but feel free to talk smack on the message boards. I made a commish call and gave him #1 priority on the waiver wire for taking on an auto drafted team he had no preferences for, and came out needing some work (especially at TE...geez), I'm thinking of doing so after again after week 1, but that would be it. Let me know if anyone has any objections to that. I'll post on the league board about the ways to get me the league dues in a few days.

Dude, no joke, I seriously did know what this was before l clicked to open it. The title is what gave it away as I saw it at the top of General Chat last night, and it did so because I've seen it blasted around for about three years. The words "Very Serious" were the tip off. If someone comes on here and asks for a prayer request for a family member, a friend, or even someone or something they heard about on the news, I stay out of that and let those who want to offer a prayer do so. That's not something I feel is my place to intrude upon ...but I don't hold chain mail to that standard.

God didn't answer this one yet? It's been going around for years...the first time I saw it was before the 2012 election. Will they update it for Hillary in 2016?

You guys are bad influences. It's like having a devil on each shoulder... :P I wanted to get the AXTS Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle at the same time and save on shipping costs (I do that often with gun parts buys), but Rainer is sold out of those...I'll squat for a few days and see if they get it back in stock anytime soon.

For real? If so, why? Their texting while driving is as dangerous as anyone else's.

Haha. Thanks, man. Now I have to agonize over the decision anew!

I was all set to go buy the SD-3G, and now they're out of stock. I'll need it to be this cheap again to make me want to dish out that much on a trigger. Maybe someday.

The judge that handled the case and issued the sentence seems to be a bit out there. http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/milwaukee-man-to-be-sentenced-on-gun-fraud-charge-b99560011z1-322283481.html

I saw that in my email today. So tempting to pick one up at that price for my SBR since it's going to cool off and I'll be back out at the range.

Looks a lot like an old ALICE 2-quart canteen cover strap. -
I thought I did when I was taking out the others as well...but then we noticed it about two picks before your team went on auto draft. With the exception of TE, it's not a bad team actually, so I'll just get someone to take it over.

Draft in ~26 min.
