Ohio State showed more passion and grit in the post game scuffle than they did in the four quarters before it.

If everybody's done watching Vanderbilt get pasted, switch over to the Michigan-Ohio State game. Pretty snug late.

No matter what happens in the final two minutes of this Georgia versus Georgia tech game, I feel bad for the police officers in Athens. Either result is gonna have plenty of people going to jail tonight.

So, how many guns do YOU have? A rhetorical Thanksgiving question.

Three pistols in different calibers, pocket .380, .40, & 9mm in standard size; one shotgun; one fun gun .22LR rifle; and two ARs, one 16" & one 10.5" SBR. -
Not really, but during my time in, food was at least plentiful if not fine dining. I remember being a new soldier to post, having no car, and walking to every meal. Thankfully the chow halls were only a few blocks away. But that was when before consolidation became a thing with military dining facilities. DoD can't pass an audit at the department level, so maybe they can start small and answer why funding for the chow halls on an Army post aren't at or above what's being collected from BAS pass through via meal card holders, or off post soldiers eating on base (this was usually breakfast 9/10 times I did it). Those kiosks mentioned in the article are a joke. Little more than what you see at a Twice Daily or a Speedy Cafe. They're a horrible try and look good solution to a real problem. It's telling these issues keep coming up for the Army. I don't recall hearing any Navy/Marine Corps bases having issues, and I'm damn sure the Air Force isn't having chow problems. This is an Army leadership problem. General officers and SES civilians should be getting fired, but I'm not holding my breath.

With Ole Miss, Alabama, and Colorado all taking an L this weekend, the real winner is Paul Finebaum with all the content in the world to talk about.
-
Ole Miss especially and Indiana to a degree both helped Tennessee when it comes to rankings today. Billy Napier probably salvaged some reputation too.

Alabama best Georgia and LSU. Tennessee's loss to Arkansas combined with a weak showing against Florida are being held against them I'd guess. Will be interesting to see where the CFP sorts this out for the week.

Not officially, but they don't control their destiny now. Way too many two win teams than playoff spots.

Have had this in the background for a few hours now, flipped to ABC, NBC, and CBS for a bit here and there. Breaking Points is easily the most even keel, treat your audience as adults, and objective discussion across the board.

While I'm not a fan of Christmas, it's been clear since my childhood putting decorations is a post Thanksgiving meal (and booze) activity. Those who practice should respect traditions.

The books probably love it. Alabama had to be where the money was. And who knows how many parlays this busted.

Kris Kristofferson, country music legend, dead at 88!

Amazing life, fantastic talent. The arts lost a great one. -
Even if Georgia pulls one out of their hat, there have to be a lot of people quite unhappy Alabama is still this good after a massive coaching staff change. The rest of the SEC are probably thankful for a 12- team playoff starting this year.

Have a co-worker who lives in Florida. She spent the day enrolling her boys in the school system of the inland home she bought earlier in the year. Her home in St. Petersburg took an 8ft wave and won't be habitable for a while apparently. She sent me this Twitter post and said it was a neighbors house on fire in the video

What a loving tribute. Hope it hurts just a little less tomorrow, and a little less each day going forward.

What use are you looking at a bag for? I bought a Lightweight Flight Messenger Bag from TImbuk2 three years ago for my day to day home to office needs. Quite happy with it.

Anyone here like going to Vols games? You're gonna be paying for more for the players it seems. Tennessee is the first, won't be the last. https://sports.yahoo.com/tennessee-to-add-talent-fee-surcharge-to-season-tickets-in-2025-in-anticipation-of-player-revenue-sharing-161909512.html

HR 9534 National Constitutional Carry Act
btq96r replied to AuEagle's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yeah, the problem with federal legislation is it can help or hurt. Better to have a do no harm approach with regards to Washington. A good litmus test is ask yourself what this bill would look like if a California or New York democrat wrote it. -
One of the best I've had. I took it up almost out of boredom after not having a job my first year, and found it very fulfilling. Ran the study hall two years for the freshman players Mon-Thu with a couple of sorority gals, with us helping them get used to college, making sure they did their work, which for some of them was quite an adjustment after being pushed through public schools. I got to work with the harder cases. Some of them were just there to play ball and skated by, but for the ones who wanted to take advantage of the opportunity a full ride provided and make an effort, I was happy to help teach/coach/mentor where I could. It was also nice to not have to mind my language or worry about coming on too strong in communicating with the guys.

When I was working with the football team at MTSU as an academic mentor, they went to Alabama to be sacrificed in Bama's home opener. The players enjoyed the experience and a chance to play in famous stadium. The ones who were from Alabama got their parents tickets to the game. Blue Raiders got spanked, but the team made the most of it.
