1. Thats where John scored auto shotguns   I do actually own a couple of wheel guns, no fancy moonclips though
2. Scores posted: http://mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2013/02-24-13.htm   Thanks John!
3. Results posted here:  http://mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2013/2013-02-16.htm   Thanks for getting them done John.
4. You should contact Michael directly with any questions that you may have. Here is his email: president@mctsclub.com
5. Well the roads were pretty damn icy, but about 35-40 brave or foolish souls made it out. Great to see new people on the range.
6. Score are up:  http://www.mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2013/2013-01-05.htm   Thanks Mechanic_X for getting these done.
7. Good to see you here!
8. When you get ready to give it a try, come on out to one of our matches.    www.mctsclub.com
9. Comp-Tac in either paddle or belt
10. Let me add that 200 may not be enough, I'll be bringing 300. LOL
11. I wouldn't bring anything less than 200 rounds No practice available 9:00 am start, if you have never shot with us be early we have a safety brief about 8:30. Setup starts no later than 7:15 The main match will start at 9:00, the finals about 12:30 Depending on the match format, weather, holidays etc we get anywhere from 25-60 shooters Yes only $20, see ya there
12. I haven't shot a factory 9mm round in years and don't plan to start now. Some people also have bullet, powder, or gear sponsorships that dictate what they use in competition.
13. Sounds good!
14. The night match was great. We even were serenaded by coyotes.
15.
As far are reloads, I asked the guy about shooting your own ammo and he said they only care about steel rifle rounds, and "any" handgun round is ok.
Good to know, I had heard differently.
16. Will reloaded ammo be allowed? Considering that a high percentage of competitors reload it would be silly not to allow this.
17. I used to shoot IDPA practice sessions in the winter up in Michigan, regular matches wrap up in November up there. There is a reason we shoot year round matches here, this weather is mild in comparison. LOL
18. Results http://mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2012/09232012_Steel.pdf
19. Mono Vision is what you want, setup your glasses so your dominate eye can see the front sight crsiply and set the weak eye for infinity. Takes me 10 minutes or so to adjust to this when I arrive to the range, works great.
20. Hammer down, not at half cock is legit for SSP The scoring in IDPA favors accuracy, every point added equals .5 seconds added to your raw time. That really adds up quick.
21. Thanks Michael was a great match for me today, sorry to see the stove pipes it would have been very close indeed.
22. One should read the bylaws that were in place at the time of the vote before implying that something improper transpired, it was all above board and proper.
