  1. ... into a fresh pile that Fido left for me. I did notice, though, that...
  2. Buddy of mine has a couple older Marlin .22's he would like to sell. Made somewhere around 1970. They have the squirrel in the stock. Is he fair to ask $150 each?
  3. There is NO death slow or painful enough for this rotten bastard.
  4. My Great Uncle Al Bradlau worked under the Dome in the 30's-60's. I'd love to be an employee.
  5. David, I got Steve's (xRustyx) early model, the paddle drop. I kinda like the really flat profile that gives it. There's literally nothing sticking out on the gun at all. If we ever have a shoot that I can attend, you're more than welcome to give it a run. The trigger is just crazy.   Remember when we both thought the H&K P2000 LEM was just awesome? Imagine that gun, with an absolutely perfect trigger... and perfect grip...
  6. http://www.facebook.com/candace.randolph.94   http://www.shuffsmusic.com/t-banjoteachers.aspx   Well, you have plenty of recommendations now. Good luck, and you're welcome!

  8. Well, that didn't take long. This gent comes highly recommended.   http://www.banjobenclark.com/
  9. If the .223/5.56 is what you want... Saiga. Unstoppable as a Glock, and as accurate for what you're talking about as an AR.
  10. Except for extreme close range, as in contact. Pushing a semi into a body will knock it out of battery, and it will not fire. The revolver will go bang.
  11. No, I don't; let me ask around.
  12. This is awesome. We're gonna have a side board called Tennessee Grass Off! :woohoo:
  13. I can hook you up with the best teacher in town. He might be able to help you find a fiddle, too. Dan Kelly; used to play with Acuff on the Opry. He's a young fella, great player.
  14. Bravo, my friend. Best in thread, right there.
  15. Scuttlebutt is the assault weapon ban is going to be an amendment so it can't be filibustered or voted against.
  16. I don't believe that's as much a part of it as the fact that we have a ton of first timers that have bought guns AND ammo. The buying base exploded, and there just wasn't enough to go around.
  17. Don, our prayers and support are with you, brother! Do what the doc says, and get better!!
  18. Oh, the front sight is MUCH easier to focus on when it's elevated 30 degrees toward the ceiling, believe me!   However, a fluorescent bulb isn't usually much of a threat compared to the guy with the hoodie on in front of me...
  19. My problem with revolvers is that (for me) they don't point naturally. In my natural grip, they are way high. Now, from my hip, they point straight, but to bring them up to "look at sights" level, I really have to lean my hand forward. If I could find grips (suggestions??) that would correct that on my old S&W 681, I'd feel much better about getting it out as a shooter.
  20. It would seem to me, although having never been in an actual situation, after the sound of the first shot, who's not going to be running in an opposite direction?   1) The guy that fired it.   2) The guy that got hit by it.   I'm probably wrong, but...
  21. Just an innocent, humorous reference to all the MIM stories flying around years back.
  22. We got da same uncle??? Cugino!!! Come siete??
