  1. Well said. I have had several Kimbers; I do miss the one Clackamas one I had.   I dove into ONE Wilson Combat once; don't remember the model, but it was horrible. I know, I know the reputation. But this ONE was a piece of junk. It fed NOTHING. I took a helluva beating on it just to get rid of that monstrosity. Swore I would never do THAT again. Over tight ain't right; not for a "trust your life to" gun, anyway.   Never had a single problem with any Colt; they all just ran. So did the RIA's I had.   I finally moved away from 1911's altogether.

  3. My question would be, why would you buy a 1911 OVER $1500? Seriously.   In MY realm, the best sounding steel guitar I've ever had cost me $900. Yes, it sounds better than an $8,000 Franklin. Or a $6,500 Emmons. High price doesn't always equal best. Low doesn't always equal worst.   Except Lorcin. ;)
  4. Sad, sad news. My prayers to Hunter's family, and my condolences to you, David. A great man gone entirely too early.
  5. It sure is! I'll give ya $2.98 for everything you own. Deal? ;)
  6. If he had listed it here, people would be trying to get him to $200.   Lots of the newer folks here want "gifts," not "deals."
  7. The price I quoted was at Franklin Gun Shop.   No surprise there.
  8. ^^^^ This.
  9. Walther PPQ.  :stir:
  10. Different strokes. I never found the PPK sexy. Heavy, with a lousy trigger pull was always my opinion.
  11. They're "allocated" as of now. None available.
  12. I stand connected.
  13.   "The CCP is, otherwise, very similar to the PPQ, albeit smaller, lighter, and thinner. But there are more than just dimensional changes with the new design. It’s still striker-fired and has the same six-pound trigger, but with less overtravel from 9mm to 7mm." http://www.guns.com/2014/03/20/walther-ccp-concealed-carry-pistol-full-specs-pricing-revealed/
  14. I think it's pretty plain to see that it's NOT that. But thanks for playing!
  15. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Don't tell me this...
  16. Think I might go ahead and sell my excellent SIG P220R... thinking about it... since I'm not really a sigger, anyway....
  17. Gonna check pricing/availability tomorrow...
  18. His actual quote was, "Looks like a High Point raped a P22."
  19. That's why I referred to you as Rab-ster, lol.
  20. You and TDR both read Rabbi on FB? lol
  21. MAN... "there's no business like show business..." THIS was entertaining... thanks, Dougie!
  22. It's the same weight, without the annoying tab.
  23. That's what it says it is...
