On the topic, however... the young man shot the intruder in the leg with a .45. The intruder then took his own life with a shotgun he had brought with him to do what he was going to do.   The Mom was in our handgun class 2 weeks ago, scared of what this ex was going to do. The boy will not face any charges, as I understand.

It can be converted from standard 1911 hammer fired configuration to striker fired. It seems to be truly modular.

Question, guys. Can a range that can handle 30-06 and .308 handle the 300 Blackout cartridge? I'm not familiar with the 300 at all. What does it compare to?   Thanks!

You are not wrong at all. As far as the illness... Jack had neck surgery 8 years ago. He was in constant pain, and the meds he was prescribed had ceased to do anything. The docs would NOT give him anything else. He decided he could no longer face the pain he was in, so... :(
