  1. TRUE story... in WWII, Churchill had a condom company make huge condoms to put over rifles to protect them from the elements. In typical British humour, he had them marked "Property of UK size medium."
  2. We all know this too well.
  3. It was a different time. True, ol' George didn't. Radio was THE venue. Now, radio has been replaced by the internet, and the "radio" on it. Much of the music business has shifted to the internet. The old business models are dying swiftly; in similar fashion to the horse and buggy. Just like the automobile gave us travel in a way that hadn't existed before, the internet has given us connectivity unlike we ever had. The projects I've done for clients in NY, AR, CA, Europe, etc, would have never happened without FB.
  4. For ME, FB has been an excellent marketing tool. I have made contact with many musicians I would not have otherwise, and I have picked up quite a bit of work through it. It has become a daily essential.
  5. I can do it right here. Step One: get a good harmonica. I recommend a Lee Oskar, either a C or a D. Let me know when you've done that...
  6. Yes, they ARE that stupid.
  7. I can fix you up, brother. ;)
  8. So glad I have an old "stupid" flip phone.
  9. You bastard. ;)
  10. Do NOT use your phones for FB. Do NOT install the Messenger app.   http://thebull.cbslocal.com/2014/08/07/facebook-crosses-the-line-with-new-facebook-messenger-app/
  11. No; he's on a street corner for someone's change. What he's doing is a novelty. It's not a "living" type thing, like I do.
  12. WOW!!!!!!!!
  13. Well, mine sucks. http://stage.results.speedtest.comcast.net/result/583497144.png
  14. Oh, I never thought you made it up. I have no doubt they said it. It's called promotion. (In the music biz, we say BS. lol)
  15. That made me spit my cereal. No such thing.  :poop: lol
  16. Yes, Johnny B is still there.   Back on topic... when I spoke with them, they said one of the bugs they were trying to get out is that right now, it has an 18lb pull to go off. Can't say as I blame them for wanting to lower that.

  18. Well, someone just transferred one in. About the size of a Glock 17 with the capacity of a 19.  Trigger was ok; nothing close to PPQ quality. It is new, so I'd give it a break in period. Probably smooth out after a while.   Wait; the PPQ is awesome out of the box. Never mind.   I believe I'll pass. :snore:
  19. Just talked with them. They don't have a finished product just yet. But they are being manufactured right here in Gallatin...

  21. Dammit. http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/Judge-Strikes-Down-DC-Ban-on-Guns-268790471.html
  22. Callous bastid! Hang 'im high! ;)
  23. Customers. Come in; "I'm looking for a holster." "What kind of gun do you have?" "It's a ------------- (something NO ONE has ever heard of)." "Do you have it with you? No holster is gonna have that name; we'll have to find something close." "Nah, I didn't bring it." DO YOU GO SHOE SHOPPING WITHOUT YOUR FEET, YOU MORON?????  :wall:  :slapfight:
  24. That will help level the playing field a bit...
