  1. No, I just posed a question for interesting discussion, and it's working.
  2. Something I've always wondered; when you carry, does it matter to you if the gun is "on book" (dealer bought) or "off book" (acquired privately)? I've always been of a mind that "on book" is a better choice for carry, while the "off book" ones kinda stay at home, safely nested away.   Thoughts?

Glock 36 works just fine... ;)
  4. Wholesale on it NOW negates that price point. Not by MUCH, but... gotta add between $30-40 to that to make it worth a dealer getting one.   Private sale, yeah, $350-ish.

I'm just pickin' at ya. I don't have one caliber going, either. 4, actually. But .40 ain't one of 'em. Too snappy, inaccuracy caused by that... I've read a LOT of PD's are leaving it behind because their officers shoot 9 much better, and with improvements in ammo, it's much better. You can look up ballistics and such, and see that the days of die-hard 40 fans are numbered. It'll never go away, but it's losing popularity.   We have TONS of .40 that no one's buying. Just no point in it anymore.

When you blow that 30 year old sand out of your nose that your head's been buried in, get back with us.

That's if you like the suckass .40.  :stir:
  8. Ok, I have now fondled three of these. Haven't shot one, yet. Of the three I've had in my hand, two were flawed, in my opinion. Earlier in this thread, I told of the one at FGS that wouldn't go into battery. Now, a compact version I tried had 2 clicks when the trigger was pulled. A large one, then a quiet, second one as I pulled farther. The trigger did NOT reset unless that 2nd click happened. It was a paperweight. I would consider that a "flaw."   So, in my limited experience, 66% of the 320's I've handled had something "wrong" with them. The other one (33%) worked as it should.

It is an excellent carry choice. I can hit center mass at 75 feet with mine.  And I ain't no shooter.
  10. Never shot a revolver? ;)
  11. Wonder what he thinks a condom is for...
  12. Yep. http://soopermexican.com/2014/08/17/this-is-one-of-the-saddest-most-pathetic-questions-a-reporter-has-ever-tweeted/
  13. Fondled one today... omg... there is ZERO reason for the old LC9 to exist anymore. WOW, what a difference!!!!!!!!!! Excellent!!
  14. Great reading! Thanks!
  15. That's Cousin It!
  16. No, we're non-denominational.
  17. They are both excellent small .45's. Need to try them, and see which is for you.
  18. A 42? sure. 26? No way.
  19. TV show reference, lol.   I prepare Ramen very differently. I boil it for 10-12 minutes, adding cayenne, garlic, some Mrs. Dash table blend, and whatever else I feel like at the moment. It becomes a very thick, hearty, tasty meal when I'm done.
  20. "Everybody Loves Ramen." ;)
  21. You're welcome to give us a try! United in Gallatin. We meet at Sumner Academy on Nichols Lane in the field house for now. Dan Smith is the pastor. I'm in the praise band.
  22. Is it as large as the brown truck? ;)
  23. I never even heard of him.
  24. No, radio isn't dead at all. Over the air radio is fading, though, as more people have access to their stations over the internet. How many of us have TV antennas on our homes? Over the air is another dinosaur headed for extinction.
