  1. Too much of a business tool for me. I have to keep up with it. Most of my work of late has come from it.
  2. 17 and 19, zero troubles. They feel even better to me than my old Gen 3's.
  3. Did a harmonica track for a guy in NY.. and a steel track for a guy in Crieve Hall..
  4. No. Just go to Lowe's, and check out the 80 grade sandpaper. That's pretty close.
  5. Had a guy with problems feeding on a new CORE 15. Dismantled it... and the bolt is so bad and rough with toolmarks inside... it's no wonder.   Terrible. Definitely not impressed.
  6. It's amazing how much money you can save when you don't just rush and do something you shouldn't.   I'm just gonna wait. IF I ever do get one, it will only be because it says Gallatin on it.   Thank you, common sense. Whew.
  7. Don't forget the Walther PPS; excellent piece. What a Shield wishes it could be.
  8. Yes; look at an LC9-S. MUCH better.
  9. I don't know; I MAY go with a Taurus for a bit, just to see if I really like the platform, and the cost difference... must ponder.
  10. Yeah, yeah, I know. But I'm "that guy" that doesn't have a "range" gun. My range guns are my carry guns. When I go to the range, I take what I may have to use. Those are the ones I want to be really good with, anyway. They're still fun, too.   My preference is a striker fired, constant trigger pull platform. I don't mind constant DA either, like a revolver. The consistency is my preference.
  11. CZ's are gone. Not one here. That DA/SA thing again... yet another reason to not get a Beretta.
  12. THAT'S what I needed to hear. Thanks. Replies like that will keep my common sense switch on.

    Glock 19

Thet were on porpus. I lik dew'n sturf lik dat.
  14. Yeah, but that's not a build location. That's the import.
  15. Lol... you made me look. My Glocks just say Austria... but S&W does say Springfield, Mass, and the Rugers say Prescott, AZ.   Never really noticed. Guess they WILL say GALL, TN or something like that.   Yeah, I'll HAVE to have that.
  16. Why would they say made in TN? They say made in USA, correct? I never really looked closely at one to see a state designation.
  17. So, I've always hated the feel of their guns in my hand. Too damn big a grip for 15 rounds. That club should have 18-19 in it.   Well, I finally actually shot a 92FS yesterday. First round went off to the right a bit, because I wasn't ready for how the thing would work. Next three went right in the X (21 feet). Just kept going till the mag was empty. No more in the X, but a pretty respectable first outing with a platform I wasn't familiar with.   Dammit. I DO like the thing.   No, I don't own one. Can't afford one. Not right now. How are the (shudder) Taurus clones?
  18. Last night's news... http://fox17.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/groundbreaking-beretta-plant-gallatin-23164.shtml#.VACRfdsk8UM.facebook
  19. Ok, so it was my old wireless router that was dying, and I didn't know it. It died today. Bought a new one. BIG difference. http://stage.results.speedtest.comcast.net/result/606741584.png
  20. Guy bought a Rossi at the shop two years ago. Never fired it until tonight. One round, factory Magtech ammo.

I have one S&W. But I would have a Colt, too.

Everyone should have at least ONE 4" .357 revolver.
