  1. Thanks for the input, guys. No trade. Just can't do it.
  2. Yeah, I like the guns with soul, too... but then again, I really like the ones I can just use without batting an eye...
  3. I realize everything is subjective, but...   If one owned a STAR Super B 9mm in really great shape, and was offered an even trade for a Taurus 24/7 .45... wouldja?
  4. About as many as care? ;)
  5. Well... I can still do the first tempo. I'm good up through the first chorus. If I hadn't just had supper, I might be able to get close to the last tempo. I now have something to practice with, and get myself back in shape.   Thank you for asking, Erik88! You've given me a goal to shoot for!!!
  6. Don't feel bad! Asking myself the same thing; and I intend to find out. I'll let you know.
  7. Still working on the first one. But have great plans for century 2!!
  8. I hated that outfit. Like a small hotel; no ballroom. I've had curly hair all my life; I do NOT understand why women pay a bunch of money to get hair like this. Crazy.
  9. Really?? Wow; how did that escape me?? I loved them!!!
  10. Larry, thank you. I'm honored to call you friend.
  11. HAHA!!!! That's awesome. Hey, get him a Lee Oskar. MUCH better harp, and in tune, too! Go figure...   I need to tell you my Swiss travel story with them; but it's for a vocal conversation. It will not translate into typed word very well.
  12. I've never heard it referred to as that, lol. Not by straight people, anyway. LMBO.   The weirdest word for it is in Switzerland. I have no idea how to really spell it, but phonetically, it's pronounced SHNUR-giggly.
  13. I found some dust; he needs to be that, anyway, so...
  14. 10,000 comedians out of work...
  15. Run it up to the 8 minute mark, and watch ol' Mikey blowin' his brains out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cct9RJR8_c&feature=youtu.be
  16. Wow. No words.
  17. Are Springfields American or Brazilian? Seems like I remember Brazil stamped on them...
  18. So, to you, $300 used for a $500 new gun is "close to new?"   Interesting perspective.
  19. When I try to sell something, I automatically forget the tax and TICS I paid; that's just part of my loss. Then, depending on how many rounds I put through it, I usually start at $50-75 off what I paid. I don't like to move much off that, because that's quite a discount with no tax and TICS already. That's pretty much getting close to cost on a gun.   Now, on THIS board, lately it's gotten to where these "members" (choose your definition, lol) want Christmas presents. I don't know WHAT'S up with that. There have been several very fair priced items on here that haven't moved. I don't know if money's that tight, or just their pucker holes.   I've managed to get better prices on Facebook.
  20. Get it. That's a good price. And you'll have a Colt in your stable, regardless of what you add later. You'll satisfy the "Colt" itch, and have that behind you.
  21. So, you want a price with no tax, and no before or after sale service, help or advice, from a local brick and mortar store.   Good luck with that.   It just comes down to what's most important to YOU. If the final price is the measure, then no one's gonna beat online. If service and a relationship is the value for you, then online can be beaten easily.
