  1. Go to my Facebook page to see the story. It won't let me post it on the TGO FB page. Scary.
  2. Dave, I have worn your shoes. I am so sorry; my prayers are with you. May the Lord show you comfort and peace in this. So very sorry...
  3. Except the Kahr trigger is nothing like a Glock. The PPS is practically identical. (There are those that would contend the Kahr trigger is better; personal choice.)
  4. Here's your single stack Glock that Glock won't make: http://www.waltherarms.com/products/handguns/pps/
  5. Yeah, first one I saw had 43 on it, too. It's a fake.
  6. Yes, please! And thank him.

  8. Man, oh man... http://www.alloutdoor.com/2014/11/25/cz-scorpion-evo-3-s1-pistol-making-splash/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=2014-12-02&utm_campaign=Weekly+Newsletter
  9. Any recommendations on getting car windows tinted up this way? Any idea on cost for a regular car? Like an Altima size?
  10. I've seen a Rossi .38 that blew the barrel off on the first shot... and a Taurus 454 Casull that didn't lock up completely right that sent shards back into the shooters face...
  11. What lends to the issue is there are only 5 people that do the TICS for the entire state. Average daily number of background checks is 1600. Black Friday was WAY above average.
  12. What you experienced was a Black Friday issue. We couldn't get through using our computer, and we don't have the (REQUIRED by all FFL's to have by 1 Jan) customer terminal going yet. I had to call them in over the phone. The gal at TICS was very polite and understanding, and told me their system kept crashing because of the overload.   It wasn't a Wally problem.
  13.
  14. I'm sure he does. As he said, he's not going to change any minds; nor are we going to change his. To each their own. Your getting pissy about my sense of humor is uncalled for. Neither are my decisions any of your business. If we cannot discuss differences in opinion without getting defensive...   I raised 7 kids, had loaded firearms, and taught them all well. However, none of them had the handicap you had to deal with. In your situation, I would have most likely chosen the same as you.
  15. Try not to be overweight to make it easier on the guys that will have to carry you when YOUR "chamber" is empty. ;)
  16. Way. I just have to look at him dumbfounded.
  17. I actually have one customer that has THESE in his gun... one in the pipe, AND one at the top of the mag, so he has to rack TWICE.  :screwy:    http://safetybullet.com
  18. Excellent video. Poor guy took 3 rounds before he got his slide racked. http://activeselfprotection.com/blog/firearms-carried-chambered/
  19. To clarify (because apparently it needs to be done)... MY question was regarding LEAVING it in there at all times. I perfectly understand HAVING it when I'm in the vehicle. The part I do NOT get is the going to bed with it still out there. It's not preparing me for ANYTHING, laying dormant in an area that is not near me. I would feel less comfortable with one of MY weapons outside my home while I'm not able to get it. Of course, I believe most of us have more than one gun. That is not an issue here, either.   Does that help clarify my point?
  20. I still don't get that. My gun is outside my house, in my car, yards and yards away from me. How exactly does that prepare ME? It prepares the sumbitch breaking into my vehicle FOR me... but it ain't preparing me for anything out there. And if I'm incapable of remembering to take a gun with me when I leave the house (Oh, crap, I forgot it again. Oh, well, I have this one in here anyway, so I'm good), that's not much of a level of "preparedness."
  21. I don't "keep" anything in my vehicle. That never seemed like a smart idea to me. I have a gun in my vehicle when I'm in it, but it leaves WITH me when I leave it.
  22. Sounds like their sign should read S H I T T E R S ....
  23. Man, that sucks. I've had so many buddies that have had this happen. Nashville Used Music and pawn shops are the most likely deposit points.   I've been very lucky over the years; I've never had any of my gear stolen. (But, who the phuck wants a steel guitar, anyway? ;) )
  24. lol. What's it look like, and how much?
