  1. And some are getting impatient... wanting to kill something... ;)
  2. HNY, TGO!!!!
  3. Slide mounted controls make zero sense to me. Always have. Frames are where controls belong. My opinion.

  5. Joe Cocker. 70. Yet another one gone.   Been a tough year in music...

  8. I believe he said superduty.
  9. I prefer mine blonde.   (We are discussing bare Etta, right?  )
  10. This is NOT hard to understand. It's like a CZ. You can either decock it, and carry it DA/SA, or leave it hammer back like a 1911 with the safety engaged, and it's SA.
  11. The Taurii work as both a decocker AND a safety for cocked an locked carry with all shots SA. If you use the decock, then it's DA/SA.
  12. The Beretta's are, yes. The Taurii work that way, though.
  13. To me, because it allows cocked and locked carry instead of just decocked.
  14. If they'd put the damn safety on the frame where it belongs...   ... that's the ONE thing Taurus got right.
  15. Good Lord, Doug! I just now saw this... wow, brother. Prayers and MORE prayers are with you!!
  16. Scuttlebutt is it's a European issue weapon only. Like the original .380.
  17. There's no "stupid" here. The guy that suggested the "game" put a gun to the other guy's head and murdered him, plain and simple. The stupid is in letting him cop to a lesser plea.
  18. I saw it on a Glock page on FB. Guess we'll find out at SHOT...
  19. Maybe...
  20. Nothing compares to a 1911. And beyond that, regardless of what some say, there IS just "something" when it's a Colt. Some feel it's better, some don't, some feel the history, some don't care, some just want the pony... Congratulations.
  21. Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER again.
  22. Sure it's not the Practical model?
  23. Larry, this might help: http://hamptonroads.com/node/320791
  24. Years ago, in an interview in Guitar Player Magazine, Brian referred to my Dad as "one of the founding fathers of rock 'n roll." I proudly showed that to him, and he just smiled and shrugged in his humble way. He always said, "I was just doing my job, not making history."   I had to go look it up. It was in 1983, the September issue.
