  1. "D.T. McCall's, Carthage and Lafayette." ONLY ones that will deliver AND set the safe up for free.
  2. They shall not be fired upon. Their demise will come from something other than my hand, at a time chosen by nature.
  3. Ain't got no boids.
  4. I just didn't know. They're cute as can be. I will not touch them... especially if they'll take care of a feral cat problem!
  5. Only game I ever hunted was of the two legged variety... HARHARHAR...
  6. Oops. Uh, guess it's obvious I'm NOT a hunter, eh?
  7. Been out in my yard working all day. Come in and shower, look out back, and there are 3 small foxes playing in the yard. One ran in the barn.   Do I let them live, or do I start picking them off? I don't know.
  8. Excellent work.
  9. You, sir, have just purchased the finest 9mm handgun ever conceived. You will be amazed at the performance. You will use so little paper, you'll be the envy of everyone you know! Congratulations!!
  10. THAT is getting shared!!!! LMBO!!!
  11. Well, I did get to shoot one this morning. Man, it is sweet! Deadly accurate, the trigger is excellent. Wasn't able to get 18 rounds in the mags, though. They're marked 18, but I couldn't get them past 17. Maybe some break in time.   The decocker is a complete non-issue. There's no way you could engage that accidentally. NO way. It seems to be part of the disassemble process. No big deal.   Great shooter for the money. Heck, great shooter for a considerably higher price point, too. Definitely a bargain right now. Can't see these staying this reasonable. As folks find out about them, they're bound to go up. Well made, no visible tool marks, very clean. Grip feels excellent in the hand.   All ready to go with a serpa holster, too. Belt and paddle attachments. I'm very impressed.   EDIT: Wanted to add... in disagreement with "NADS"head, this looks and feels MUCH better than the original TP9. It is more svelte, more ergonomic, just a general all-around better offering.
  12. Pesky officer size 19... ;)
  13. Glock 17 and Springfield 1911, pictured to show difference in length with end of slides and grips aligned. Clearly shows the Commander size of the 17.
  14. And every time I look at the groups on my targets, I do exactly the opposite.   My two most accurate pistols (for me) are my Springfield 1911 and my CZ 75 compact. They are also my two heaviest. My Glocks and Rugers are great... but when I just want to marvel at how little paper I use, it's the 1911 and CZ.
  15. I can't find one. Several by Rob Pincus, but none by Hickok...
  16. Don't know...
  17. Has he ever shot a gun that deserved panning?
  18. There is a difference in unnecessary and dangerous. The decocker is unnecessary. Simply don't use it. It's not like it's easy to engage, and could be engaged during presentation. Unlike the "NADS" guy, I can at least envision a scenario where it might be useful... might.   Say it's your nightstand/range gun, not a carry weapon. You leave every day to go to work, you have small children at home with your wife. Rather than unload the gun, decock it so the kids can't fire it if they happen upon it. When you return, you get it ready to go again.   Now, THIS is dangerous. AND stupid. Period. http://www.safetybullet.com/home.html

  20. I find it interesting that the notion of moving forward is an arrow pointing right, while one pointing left signifies moving backward...
  21. I have a little more faith in Hickok45 than a guy that wears a "NADS" t-shirt while talking about guns... just sayin'.
  22. I sure hope not!!!!   Made me go look... http://www.caracal.ae/products/list/pistols/caracal-1911
  23. Yeah.. remember that dismal failure, Caracal? I really liked the feel of those...
  24. I have handled one. I can tell you it feels great, almost CZ-ish in the grip, and points excellently. I like the sight picture; not just the standard three dot, but the little line at the bottom of the rear sight that causes a lollipop effect with the front sight. Something about that combination seemed real easy to acquire to me.   The decock buttons are really quite stiff to push in, so I don't understand what the issue with carry would be. You have to really WANT to decock the gun; it's not gonna happen accidentally. The trigger on the one I pulled rivaled my PPQ. It was really an excellent trigger.   I'm hoping to be able to shoot one in the next few days...
  25. I don't see it.
