  1. Well, I see you're in 'nooga, so... we wouldn't be doing the transfer. Lol
  2. Buy it; we'll transfer it...
  3. Except the ones that have brought theirs in to trade off because they hated them. And there have been several.
  4. I don't find it ugly, by any means. But, I was wrapped up in the space program when I was a kid. I dig the look. I hope it does work, because I would love to see Remington have a winner/contender in the game instead of a boat anchor.
  5. Had a Comcast guy in the shop the other day. He was talking with another guy, laughing about the customers paying extra for the "higher speeds." He said what they don't realize is that the outlets they have won't do anymore than 6MB out anyway, and people just fall for all that marketing hype and pay through the nose for nuttin'.
  6. Caracal... man, what a mess. Got a full refund for that one. Loved the way it felt... but, dang.
  7. What sort of "aftermarket support?" They are a Century Arms product. Are there issues with their support that I don't know about?   "Pull the trigger." Man, you need to try it. Closest thing I've felt is a PPQ. It is EXCELLENT. Accuracy is superb; it outshoots the Glocks I don't own any more. It's one of the most accurate 9mm's I've ever shot. It's really balanced well, too. For me, it's a natural pointer.
  8. The "weird decocking device" is a total non-issue. It's not gonna be engaged accidentally, and for idiots that don't check their chamber before field stripping, it's a much better option than pulling a trigger. And we all know such idiots exist.
  9. Well, I know I'm late to the party on this one... but I am fairly amazed at the CANIK TP9sa. Grip feels similar to a CZ, Commander size, 18+1, excellent sight picture... and at $349 (Academy), it's an extremely impressive product. Worth a look.
  10. A coyote? In my yard? Wow... I'll have to keep watch for that...
  11. "Talk?" ;)   Just looked too small for even a newborn, to me. But again, I'm not a hunter, so...
  12. Didn't know they came that small.   Could that have been done by one of those foxes I didn't bother?
  13. NOT my shoe, lol; I put my foot in the pic for scale. What is this from?
  14. ... an Oscar Meyer weiner?
  15. I never had the opportunity to meet the man, but his legend is eternal. Everyone I know that knew him always said that he was a wonderful human being, too. Godspeed, BB. Now, go show ol' Chet a thing or two.
  16. Well, with this glowing review, I simply had to try one. The one I tried was the FNS-9. The white dot in the front sight fell out on the first shot. For a 9mm, it was extremely painful and unpleasant. The web between my thumb and finger was in misery after 10 rounds. Accuracy was mediocre; might have to attribute that to the front sight, but it was there and still fairly plain to see without the dot.   I was not impressed.   If someone near me wants it, you can have it for $450.
  17. Misleading title. Shot "AT," not shot.   There's a difference.
  18. What the heck IS that??
  19. I have experienced several of these with what I perceive as a trigger issue. Several do a "double click" as the trigger breaks. If you DON'T pull all the way through to that second click, it does not reset and will NOT fire. The double click feels very strange, as well. I have seen some that do not have this, only a single click and are fine. I don't understand what the deal is, but it seems like something that needs to be addressed.
  20. This happens all the time. The Platinum album in the award is NEVER the actual record. It's always some scrap album that is coated and the label of the winning album put on. Count the number of song bands on the vinyl, and look at the song list on the label. They don't always match.
  21. Gorgeous.

  23. Lipbiscuit seems to have issues with reading comprehension.
  24. If you love it, great. If you hate it, great. To each their own.   Back in '86, Glock led the pack with a polymer gun that EVERYONE eventually copied.   Here in '15, Glock trails the pack, doing something that's already been done by everyone.   Had they been first again, it would be something to crow about. Now... well, :snore:
  25. Four things I don't have. Not so easy... ;)
