  1. Musta been one hell of a collision...
  2. Get two of the 20 rounders, and ya got 41 on ya. ;)
  3. I thought the fed's gave them a contract and saved them...?
  4. BIG fan of my TANIK (I have the desert tan one, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk) TP9sa. Wish there was a TP45sa. Anyone that complains about the decocker must really have ocd issues. It can in NO WAY be engaged accidentally, and for the non-chamber checking morons that pull a trigger on a loaded pistol for field stripping (and you KNOW they exist), it's a much better option to use the decocker.   A compact version would be really nice for EDC, but I'll stick with my full size till that happens...
  5. Probably none; I was just posing a thought.
  6. Can't exactly "buy" it, at this point. It's part of a live auction scheduled for the 16th. Wonder if that makes a difference?
  7. I used to have one that the finish was almost a carbonia blue color. Man, that was a great pistol. But, for ten rounds, it was just too big and heavy, for me. Ten rounds come in smaller, lighter packages.   Enjoy it! I know it's a really excellent .45. And at that price... you should be ashamed... lol!
  8. Isn't that a helicopter? http://my.xfinity.com/?cid=customer
  9. I checked my settings, and made sure I had "Never" selected on the auto-delete thing.
  10.    THAT'S great! lol... nah, not devastated, but now curious. There must be some inconsistency in the manufacturing process yet, because none of the three I've handled or the ones I've sold have had a spongy feel at all. I've had nothing but positive customer feedback, so far. That may change, but as it stands now, I have not witnessed what tercel experienced.
  11. FWIW, Butch Legg, prez of the Gallatin Gun Club came in and looked one over. He was impressed with the firing system; his comment was, "Looks like they FINALLY got one right."
  12. I wear Perry's every day. I have way too much in/on my pants NOT to. If I cinched my belt up tight enough to hold all that up, I would seriously hurt my back!
  13. Speak up next time! I always have a minute for a fellow TGO'er!
  14. Another review. https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/ruger-american-pistol/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20160104_BlogDigest_153&utm_campaign=/blog/ruger-american-pistol/   Notice the slide does NOT go forward on the mag going in.
  15. Why are they always after midnight? 10pm is dark, and would work well.
  16. Here's a really good reason not to. http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2016/1/4/walther-announces-pps-m2-pistol/
  17. First hand bad accounts always get more traction than first hand good accounts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8ZWwfw2r0Y
  18. IF I recall correctly... I read in an interview with Rob Leatham that HE always lets his trigger go all the way out, and ignores reset. But then, he doesn't know anything. :squint:
  19. I hear many guys bitch about "trigger reset." Wonder what kind of "reset" Jerry has in his revolvers. :stir:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLk1v5bSFPw
  20. The snag free direction needs to be on the DRAW, not on the reholster direction. The new Honor Guard pistols have got an edge here, where they should be. This would help if you had to rack using a table edge, etc.
  21. The Canik TP9sa has 18 rd mags; unless you get the 20 rounder.
  22. He shot it like most right handed shooters I see. If you don't secure your grip with your LEFT hand properly, that's how you shoot. Need to have a 40% right - 60% left type grip ratio.

  24. Anyone else notice the second mag in each course of fire in that video, there were 18 shots? Wonder wassup with that?   EDIT: Yep, watched it again just to be sure. 2nd mag each time from an open slide, there were 18 rounds fired. Guess one mag holds 18?
