  1. Going on experience from customers... I suppose TICS is run a little different than NICS. No one has told me that TICS gave them any info.
  2. They will either approve her, give a conditional proceed, or keep the denial. They will not tell her what it was for. If she remains denied, she will have to get a lawyer to explore and defend.
  3. Both of which will cost you a lot more money than just going to the pd.
  4. Which is why I suggested the sheriff's dept. They will use TICS, I believe. I have suggested this over the years to several customers, and it has worked well.

Is it a paddle, ala the PPQ M1?
  7. Go to the sheriff's dept. They will run a background. Then you'll know.
  8. You still have my old PC9?
  9. The Kel-Tec Sub2000 is a really good option. Very accurate, and with the mag options to likely match your carry pistol, it's a really good choice.
  10. Yeah. It's funny to watch the reaction of women customers particularly, when I explain that carrying a weapon is going to require wardrobe adjustments if they plan to carry on body. Whenever I explain that IWB is going to require them to buy the next size pant to make room for the gun, they sure get huffy. "I am not ABOUT to buy bigger clothes! Forget it!" lol
  11. Retired FBI agent I work with tells about the guys using their gunlights to look at maps and things on the job. Said he always hollered at them to STOP that crap, lol.
  12. Well, over the past few months, I actually came to the point that I had to answer this for real. What wound up winning? My Ruger SR9c. That was the ONE that I couldn't part with.
  13. More business for someone else I know!
  14. Well, we'll see what happens this time. (Comments are brutal, lol) https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/the-remington-r51-pistol-is-back-now-shipping-to-initial-buyers/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20160624_FridayDigest_35&utm_campaign=/blog/the-remington-r51-pistol-is-back-now-shipping-to-initial-buyers/
  15. Roger not running it probably had a lot to do with it. New blood isn't always good blood.
  16. You need a pocket .308 if you want "stopping power." Seriously.
  17. Well, I gotta chime in. While I prefer striker guns, there's no doubt that I get my best groups with a hammer fired gun. I don't know what it is; perhaps the lack of "boing" when a hammer fired gun goes off? I know in dry fire, a striker gun will bounce a tad where a hammer gun just doesn't.
  18. It's not too easy for me. (My issue is more financial, though.) Good post!
  19. Wisdom, AND truth. lol. Awesome.
  20. Thanks. Shame that's BFE for me.
  21. They did NOT have them at our Ollie's in Gallatin. Dangit.
  22. Excellent. Thanks for sharing.
  23. Well, I did own one for a short time. The grip angle, for me, was terrible. If you're accustomed to most grip angles, you'll shoot the ceiling. Even Glock isn't as radical as Steyr. Also, the little hump at the top of the backstrap was very uncomfortable for me. Hated shooting it. It did have a great trigger, but the other things just turned me off. That being said, you should try one, anyway. It may work great for you. I know there are guys that swear by them. I swore at it, and off them.
  24. VERO1, you rock. My gratitude in advance to you! (Wonder if our Ollie's has them in Gallatin?)
  25. Isn't it already great? So I've been told... never felt one.
