MY understanding... and I'm probably wrong... is that with an HCP, you are allowed to have a chambered long gun in the vehicle. If you don't have an HCP, the long gun cannot be chambered.

I sadly do not have mine anymore. It was great, but it was a little too big to carry. Extremely accurate, great trigger; I had the desert tan TP9-sa. A buddy of mine has it now.

That was just a collective figure I pulled out of the air to represent that which is distributed to ALL the songwriters. The actual figure would be much higher because of all the people that are "songwriters." Most songwriters make less than 10K; not many songs sell in the huge numbers that produce million dollar incomes. My buddy is one that falls in the 6 figure bunch. The licensing agreements that are signed and ignored by services such as Pandora are, well, useless. They agree to pay a figure, but they never do. How they get away with it, I don't know.

Ahem. If I may interject a little music biz perspective? All of these services are basically criminal. They pay zilch to the creators of the content you are listening to. Where a standard BMI/ASCAP agreement would have them pay, say, $2,000,000 to be distributed to songwriters, these services pay about $20,000. They are ripping off friends of mine, and making it extremely difficult to continue to make the content you are enjoying. One particular songwriter I know had his checks fall from $100,000 + annually to $46.00. Yes, you read that correctly; $46.00. Do you want him and others like him to continue to make the music you want to hear? Then pay them, and give them the freedom to write and use their creativity. They can't do it very well when they're having to do a normal 9-5 to try to pay their bills. Don't use these services, don't file share, and don't use Google, they are in full support of music piracy. Rant done.

What he said. Back to the Glock thing... for me personally, other manufacturers do 9mm better. Glock was awesome in 1986, but since then, with modern innovations, I believe they have been surpassed. Now, in .45... I really do like a Glock. The 21 and the 36 just seem ideal .45 platforms to me. One for capacity, one for concealment.

The 17 is the same dimension around as the 19. The only difference is the length. If you have a full 3 finger grip on the 19, the 17 won't be any "better." The Glock angle does take some getting used to. I will tell you, for me, Glocks are adequate shooters. They don't group for me nearly as well as a CZ, or Ruger SR series pistol, or a 1911.... or anything, lol. But, at a practical defensive distance, it is certainly good enough. I wouldn't want to aim for the fences with them, though.

Love the thread already. My favorite overall? My CZ 75 Compact. Too heavy to carry all day, though. My best shooter and favorite carry 9? Ruger SR9c. Most accurate 9 I've ever owned. Favorite carry .45 is my Glock 36.

I wonder how many of us do this same thing; we find something that really fits us, and seems so right... yet we choose to carry something else. I'm guilty, for sure.
