  1. Man, I don't know. That even makes a Glock look better.
  2. Watching the PPQ comparison video, it's pretty easy to see that the PPQ he has does not have a trigger nearly as good as they normally are. Mine has zero grit, and is easily as smooth as the CZ trigger. Doesn't seem to be very well informed.
  3. Fwiw, I almost always use my phone now, haven't popped open my MAC to see how it looks there. On the phone, I love it.
  4. If the Canik was available, folks would probably buy it!
  5. I do miss the little lower right hand corner arrow thing that appeared in the previous version that shot ya back to the top, but no biggie.
  6. Looks like a Canik TP9sf Elite...
  7. Wow! Tremendous! Gorgeous! Excellent! Love it! This looks great!
  8. Aren't those really designed for revolvers?
  9. Ok, I'm gonna start searching. My curiousity is piqued. Edit: only thing I can find regards the Pearce extensions. Everything else is good/great.
  10. Care to elaborate? My36 works like a champ. Darn near a bullseye gun.
  11. Well, this is the 1st time I gotta say I don't like the change in the board. Looks Fischer- Price. But don't mind me. It's fine, whatever works best is the main thing.
  12. The one thing I see really different is the inability of the extendable/collapsible stock to do either. Tightest dang stock I've ever seen. Even removing the pin and doing some greasing up, it still doesn't want to move.
  13. Wingshooter, you make a great point. Thanks, I believe you gave me just the input I needed. Guess I'll keep the Saiga!
  14. Been a musician all my life, too late for that already, lol
  15. To clarify, my "property" is my home. Modest 3 acres, 1 1/2 useable, outside city limits, I do have neighbors, deer, and can hear coyote calls nightly in the distance.
  16. Looking for advice from the long gun experts among us. I know which way I'm personally leaning, but I would like the input from greater minds. I have a Saiga .308, wonderfully converted by our own Smith. It's the only serious caliber rifle I own. Would I be better served to keep it, or sell it and get an AR in 5.56? I am not a hunter, if that helps in the decision. I think I ultimately want the best option for home/property defense. Thoughts?
  17. We have them, but we're in Gallatin.
  18. Speaking of Chet, story goes when he got a new guitar one time, another guy told him the new guitar sounded great. Chet set it down and said, "How's it sound now?"
  19. The late Jimmy Colvard, one of Nashville's greatest (Barefoot Jerry, Area Code 615, and countless sessions) main guitar was a $99 Univox Les Paul knockoff. Can't even begin to tell you how many records it's on.
  20. Well, now that I see it on my computer, the old paneling is still there, lol. Just in the background. Still looks better, though.
  21. So nice to see the demise of the 70's paneling look. This is hip.
  22. I love it! Looks so much better on my phone, haven't checked it on a computer yet. Much easier to see and read!
  23. Actually, it's the ones rollmarked "Clackamas OR" that are the premium ones. There's only 5,000 of those. I had one, it was probably the best 1911 I've ever owned. There was never one actually built in OR, they've all been made in Yonkers, but they had parts built and rollmarked there before they moved. The early Kimbers were excellent as they were working hard to dethrone Colt at the time.
  24. Maggie Valley??? Don't you go and start square dancin'!
  25. Joe, ol' buddy, you'll always have a home here. Safe travels, and think of us now and again.
