  1. Man, I'm gonna get beat about the head and shoulders, but... at least I'm able to admit when I'm wrong. Many of you have heard me express my dislike of the M&P series. I now have a .45 Shield on my hip. Wound up trading my trusty Glock 36 in. This feels better, holds one more round, shoots better and more comfortably... ... proceed with the beatings...
  2. Don't get me wrong, I love CZ's! If their manufacturing process is that inconsistent on this, maybe they need to hold off a while.
  3. I put it on a PPQ, 4 lbs, Beretta APX, 7 lbs, and the P 10, which appears to mean the trigger pull.
  4. Seen one. Trigger was godawful, 10 lbs on a Lyman digital gauge. Couple CZ fans came in, set it right down with a big "Yuck. No thanks." 1st impression wasn't impressive.

    FNS-9 is a G19 size slide, with a 17 rd grip. CZ P-10 fits G19 holsters, it's almost identical.

Looks good, but I'm happy with my FNS-9. Haven't seen one of these yet. Seems like it's higher priced than the FNS series?
  7. SS, DD. Ok, seriously, welcome back!
  8. Still a stupid design, by today's capabilities.
  9. APX. In our modern world of firearms, where they can and should be extremely easy to maintain... ... my people (I'm Italian) have again shown their propensity to hit the vino while working, and designed this where you have to have three hands to field strip. You have to hold the frame, pull the slide back, and while you're doing that, you have to be pushing in a small button with a punch or a pen. Marrone. Stupid.
  10. And let us know how many 147 grain pellets you enjoy receiving.
  11. Photoshop is an excellent program.
  12. Ones I've seen say Made In Italy.
  13. .40 is dead. Period. http://www.alloutdoor.com/2017/03/22/demise-40-caliber/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=2017-03-28&utm_campaign=Weekly+Newsletter
  14. I see what you did there...
  15. Shooting requirements haven't changed. Test has 50 questions now instead of 30.
  16. When did you take it? I ask because the new test required in use 1 March is 50 questions. The 2 point zone on the test target is roughly equivalent to the 9 ring on a typical silhouette target.

  18. In my case, I guess not. I would have to say my favorite handgun is my PPQ... but the one I find in my holster most often is my SR9c. I think the flexibility is the thing. The Ruger is really 3 different sizes. With the 10 rd mag with the flat baseplate, it fits perfectly in the Sneaky Pete I had made back when I had a PPS. Yeah, it fits in the same place a single stack 6 rd pistol did. With the pinky extension, it's easy to conceal the butt, and it feels like a full size grip, all 3 fingers have support. With the 17 rd mag, well, it IS a full size 9. Regardless of anything else I've ever had, I keep coming back to it.
  19. Sumner Gun & Supply. Great staff and extremely affordable range.
  20. Well, they're all about to be standardized. Beginning 1 March, instructors will no longer be allowed to inject any individual spin/experience in a class. Everyone will have to read the same 160 slides verbatim. At 3 minutes per slide, that's 10 hours, roughly. This is what happens when you get a clueless gov agency head to decide how things should be. Edit: Just to add, certified instructors have taken the written test, and failed. It's going to be interesting.
  21. Had a Ruger Match Champion that they left the hammer shims out. Things happen.
  22. Guess they're having a hard time with realizing they just can't beat the PPQ.
  23. Obviously not, lol! Nothing to see here, move along...
