  1. Cool, thanks!
  2. This was Denzel and Travolta. What's the original?
  3. Watched Taking of Pelham 123. Gun in the money bag magically changed from a Walther PPK to a Kahr. How'd that happen?
  4. Same as full size. I really am amazed at how mild it is for a small .45. Much tamer than the G36 I traded off for it. Don't understand how S&W did that. It hasn't become my favorite carry yet, but I can feel it tugging me in that direction. It's making me look at the 2.0 line, which I wouldn't have considered before.
  5. No, people buy other makes of guns BECAUSE Glocks are on the market. FIFY.
  6. Red dots just don't work for me. Astigmatism makes them a red slash from 11 to 5 o'clock.
  7. So, you don't need the fancy sight.
  8. My thinking is, for range time, anything goes, do what you want. But seriously, in a CQ life or death situation, does one consider sight acquisition? Seems practicing one hand point/shoot drills makes more sense to me. Enlighten me. I've only had to present my weapon once, just to low ready, and dude ran off.
  9. Different ones wow me for different reasons. It's not easily definable...
  10. Someone buys that rifle, maybe... lol
  11. Top Hog; best catfish and BBQ around!
  12. It was a pleasure and honor to see you both! Come back anytime!
  13. You're not eclectic. Just another liberal that likes guns.
  14. My dad and I were having our routine McDonald's breakfast, he had to have a sausage egg McMuffin every morning. We knew nothing until I got him home, we walked in, and mom was watching TV and asked if we had seen this. We looked at the set, and in a couple minutes, the 2nd plane hit. She said, "Oh my God, it's an attack!" Dad and I were still in dumbfounded mode. We just sat and watched in disbelief.
  15. Man, do I feel your pain. I've lost more than one account because of my slant. Have we worked together?
  16. A lost art, becoming American. My grandparents had the same attitude. Today's immigrants need a dose of this common sense.
  17. A .45 vs .45 thread?? Good grief, man!! What's happening around here??????? (Good thread!)
  18. And double charge the loads. It'll feel kinda like politics.
  19. We all have different interests. Guns are what brought us together here. On the steel guitar forum, one guy started a thread about what else do you do? After a few pages, the owner squashed it. "This is a steel guitar forum, not golf, bowling, guns, etc." However, it does get boring talking about tuning and setup issues all the time. Dead horse, ya know? Kinda like only talking to your wife about sex. (Ok, maybe not the best example, but you get my drift... ) I think it's good for folks, as they hang, to learn more about each other. HOWEVER, politics/religion can turn pretty nasty. Maybe the Benefactor idea is a good option.
  20. The 19 is a bit smaller, same capacity. The grip angles are different. PPQ trigger is far and away the better one. If size is the determining factor, or trigger, that's what would probably make the decision.
  21. Or if they ARE a joke...
  22. What we need is a free gun zone.
