  1. That could apply to a certain group of folks, too.
  2. There's your explanation. Retailer closed up shop, so ATF has the records. Pretty simple.
  3. I appreciate the offer, Pain103, but I have no method of getting it. I'll get under there somehow, eventually.
  4. I have a great mower, I have lousy grass, lol. I had a Gallatin PD that used to have a lawn biz before he got on that the secret is to spray under the deck with PAM. He said that's what the pros do to keep it from sticking and clumping. I just don't have any way of getting my mower in the air high enough to clean it out and spray it.
  5. My stepper says I've walked 11,704 today.
  6. I never mow before 2. But if I didn't cut it down starting early, it wouldn't dry because it's so thick. Just came in from mowing; now I get to do actual weedeating instead of general yard prep with it. Yay.
  7. I have never fertilized. The grass is a mix of several kinds. The 2 I recognize are Bermuda and crab, lol. Yeah, if I had time to mow every 3-4 days, that would probably help. But between my schedule and the monsoons we get, no can do.
  8. Been out there since 7:20. Just came in to rest a while before I mow. Thought I'd ask youse guys, lol
  9. Yes. Doesn't help. It clumps up awful.
  10. Man, this wears me out. My grass is so thick and retains so much moisture, I have to weedeat a little over a whole acre to get it to where it can dry where I can run my rider Husqvarna mulch mower over it. Thank God my wonderful wife bought me a DR walk behind trimmer/mower to do it... but that's still a lot of work. Anybody else have to do something so crazy?
  11. Don't do AARP. They hate folks like us. Try that conservative alternative, AMAC or whatever it is.
  12. It has been years... geez, decades, since I was there. Back in the 80's. There was this hole in the wall fish and chips joint right across the street from the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington. If I went back, I would check to see if it was still there. It was fantastic!
  13. Looks like a guitar capo.
  14. Had a customer yesterday, guy looked like a 6' 2" fireplug. I don't even think .45 would have phased him.
  15. Amen, and amen!
  16. They say statistically the "typical" gunfight is 3 rounds, 3 seconds, 3 feet, so... not a bad idea to practice that.
  17. Link would be better than a screenshot...
  18. I am not on Facebook; well, I have a musician page there that I don't administer. A dear friend, guitar player called me last night to tell me about a post that a bass player buddy of ours made. He used to be on this board, but he got booted years ago for his insane rhetoric. If you wish to be further sickened, look up David Hungate and read. Just sad. Not sure how I'm going to handle the next time I see him. He comes in the shop, he owns a bunch of guns. His hypocrisy is astounding. I wish someone could post for all his high fiving friends that he owns more guns than a lot of people.
  19. That you took the joke wrong?
  20. And your method of carry would be... ? Well, you DID say cloths, not clothes, so...
  21. He alone is responsible for his actions, true. But the hate, lies and vitriol being spewed relentlessly by his like minded brethren fueled his decision to take the action that he alone is responsible for. A car doesn't run without gas in the tank, and liberals and democrats have been putting gas in the tank for a very long time now.
  22. My Dad loved it as much as I did. We watched it every week.
  23. Met him a couple years ago. Nice guy. The Batcave is a little darker.
