  1. http://www.comcast.net/articles/entertainment/20090316/Obit.Silver/ The political things mentioned are very telling.
  2. I had one, sold it because of financial issues. One of the finest 9's I've ever had. No issues, dead on POA=POI, fit my hand perfectly; mine was not the decocker. I liked the C&L option like a 1911. No problem to drop the hammer to half cock for DA first shot. Get one; you will not regret it.
  3. Where did you find the PC 9? I've been looking for one for a loooooooong time...
  4. Wolf + AK = fine Wolf + ANYthing else = No way...
  5. Cool! I like it; love to have one...
  6. Bought it new. Every manufacturer of everything turns out a lemon now and again. the Maytag complaints are few on a gun board, though.
  7. I've had/have one. Best handgun I've ever owned, period. Accurate, flat and light for CC... I haven't experienced a single problem. It is, IMHO, "perfection" perfected.
  8. Ah, if Tokyo Rose had the internet...
  9. They are, indeed. Tell 'em I said hi...
  10. A tragic loss, indeed. He was one of the very best. Godspeed, sir.
  11. Chicken?? Why, heck yeah, I know him!
  12. http://lillypadmusic.com/music.htm A dear friend of mine sent me this link, and I wanted to share with you guys what I do. It's a vid of the late Charles Lilly singing "Playboy," opening for the late Billy Walker. The late Danny Patton is playing guitar, and Richard "Sticks" Stikley is drumming. The fat guy playing steel... well, he really needs to go on a diet! (Dang!!)
  13. If you find an IWB holster... ... you'd look like Porter Wagoner!
  14. Where do I get one??
  15. I just sent this to Corker: -------------- Mr. Corker: In form letters, you state "However, I had significant concerns with Mr. Holder's nomination for Attorney General due to his record as Deputy Attorney General and his past analysis of the 2nd Amendment. After carefully reviewing the testimony from Mr. Holder's confirmation hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee, while I may disagree with some of Mr. Holder's views, there was nothing that would disqualify him from this position." With all due respect, sir, what is your answer to this? http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Story?id=6960824&page=1 Sir, we need statesman that can use their gut feelings. To be honest, I don't believe you're one of those people. Do NOT bother to reply if you're just going to send another form letter. We're getting pretty tired of generic answers. Sincerely, Michael Douchette
  16. Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago , another is from Tennessee , and the third is from Minnesota. All three go with a White House official to examine the fence. The Minnesota contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me." The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me." The Chicago contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$2,700." The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?" The Chicago contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence." "Done!" replies the government official. And that, my friends, is how the new stimulus plan will work.
  17. Welcome, neighbor!
  18. Yeah, but ricochet ain't Irish...
  19. Lemme see... well, with a name like O'Shay, your nickname can't possibly be Guido...
  20. How about your gut, pansy? This is why we have no leadership, no statesmen.
  21. The problem is access to where the critter got to... I'm a little big, and it's really small... wonder if that mixture could be put in one of those "attach to the garden hose" bottles, like a plant food bottle?
  22. And do what with it?
  23. Ma got a skunk under the sunporch. Have a trap under there now, but it sprayed a couple days ago. The whole house makes your eyes water. What will get rid of the smell? Don't tell me to burn the house down.
  24. Chuck, great idea, but if you're not a member of the particular forum, you can't contact the seller. I would imagine, most of the for sale threads would disappear to a "new member" once you did sign up. If there was an off board way to contact them, it would be perfect.
  25. Hardly a "scandals" list. Irritations, but not scandals.
