  1. They're old friends of mine. Good folks, hilarious vid.
  2. This is some different input. I recently tried a CZ TT 45. 11 rounds of .45, light polymer frame... it's not small, but the trigger's really fine, and for $300? Check it out.
  3. Prayers are with you. May God bless and give you comfort in this time.
  4. Phil at Bellshire Hardware here in Nashville has the RIA's for $370...
  5. They'll just haul a 2,000 ton lump of coal up there.
  6. For the most part, it does. It does lay claim to the BHP being the "grandfather" of the "wondernine," and a grandfather is never discounted from the family. So, you are partially correct, and partially incorrect.
  7. I'd be curious to hear more confirmation of that. To refute your claim: http://www.notpurfect.com/main/wonder.html
  8. IIRC, that award goes to the 1935 Browning Hi Power. I could be wrong, but I believe that is attributed as the first of the "wondernine's."
  9. Check out The Sunday Run . Once a month incredible specials. This Sunday is it...
  10. I'm loster than Janet March.
  11. I believe H&K was first... first for polymer, to be sure.
  12. Aren't they... uh, H&K "inspired?"
  13. No, it says "ANOTHER PLATFORM REDEFINED" Not new; so, it's not something we've never seen...
  14. I don't understand the angst with the LEM system. I have a P2000 with it, and it's the best shooter I've ever had (other than a Clack Kimber I sold like a D-A a few years ago). It's smooth, light like an LDA or a BHP; what's not to like?
  15. History Being Repeated? My Fellow Americans my name is Raul Lopez. I am a Hispanic, I am a Republican, and I live in the GREATEST country in the world and I’m proud of it. Why do I love the United States of America? Because of its people, because of its Christian values and because of its form of capitalist Government. You see capitalism encourages faith, family, freedom, and fiscal responsibility. For those who don’t know me I was born in Havana Cuba. My family and I escaped when I was young because we hated extreme socialism (Communism) and the bondage it imposed on its people. We came to the greatest country in the World; the United States of America. After a couple of years my grandmother used to sit us down every year and tell us a story. It was about a young charismatic, articulate speaker who took the country by storm. He would go from town to town preaching his "gospel of change". His "change" promised redistribution of wealth, where everyone would prosper and flourish. Every time he made a speech his support grew larger and larger. In fact his support grew so large that the crowds finally put him in power. Well, as soon as he took control and became the leader of the country, he quickly began his plan of "change". Unfortunately, it wasn’t the "change" the people were expecting. He took control of the banks and businesses, and quickly got rid of any executives who disagreed with his way of thinking. He took control of the schools to start indoctrinating the children with his leftwing agenda. He took control of the churches and thus minimizing their influence on the people and their lives. He took the people's guns thus eliminating any chance of revolt to his ever increasing power over the land. And then he also created a nationalized healthcare system which ultimately turned into a nationwide rationed healthcare system. And he did all this very quickly under the umbrella of "change". Who was this ruler? Fidel Castro. Does this story sound familiar? My friends, we can’t let history repeat itself. We must stop President Obama from spreading his Socialist agenda. And we must do it now.
  16. Local TV polls like that usually only run for 24 hours. It would have stopped regardless of the outcome. But I'm glad it finally tallied as it should have.
  17. Yes. I'm a Republican, and I got called. I couldn't do it because I was out of town during the time frame they needed. Loosen the foil, pal. Some houses are in different sectors, and if the house next to you isn't in the designated area for the worker, they'll pass it by.
  18. I was a census taker in 2000; no, you cannot scour the property... unless they've changed the laws this time around.
  19. See, there are times when an ND while cleaning a Glock could come in handy...
  20. I'll be in Alabama this weekend...
  21. If you ever get over toward Nashville way... sure...
  22. Glad I got my PLR early... man, I paid half that. I've been thinking about a .45, didn't know Bersa made one like that. Is the trigger decent, or really heavy? Seems (IIRC) the Bersa's I've fondled were pretty stout...
  23. But if it's a Glock, it's the product, right?
  24. 5/3 charges that stupid five bucks when you bring in a check to cash. First TN doesn't; neither does SunTrust.
